Kids' Science Fiction short story set on an alien planet called Isham. Spoilers ahead.

A science fiction short story was read to me at school when I was in Year 6 (ages 10-11) in England in 1989. It's about a visit to an alien planet called Isham (unsure about the spelling as it was read to us by our teacher). There are native fauna on Isham which turn out to be robots created for entertainment purposes, possibly for a safari or for people to hunt for fun. The natives on Isham speak English, which they explained by people from Earth having visited the planet in the past.

Do you remember where the story came from?

Was it from a collection of short stories, a magazine, a school textbook?

Our teacher was reading from an actual book rather than a magazine/textbook, so my guess would be a collection of short stories.
