Only sometimes?
I'm part embarrassed and part sorry. I think Speedy is jinxed.
@Speedy: Covered around 47% in the novel. Will finish Fantasy novel by end of the day. Also I prefer to pick Fiction instead of YA for the remaining genre. Hope that's okay with you.
@RF, completed the non-fic. Updated in msg1.@Em, Nathan's speed is off the charts. He's the reverse flash! :D

And you yourself is no less, Reverse Flash. ;)

Hahhaha. True. Was just scouring the internet for good fiction novels from the year 2004..
Few I shortlisted but they fall below 300 pages so : /

Searched 2002 too?
I'll start the award winner category next - Half of a Yellow Sun
Yeah didn't get any good ones. I'm tired of crime/horror/sci-fi. I want plain old comedy/romance/light stuff...Tales of desperaux etc but those were less than 300 pages.
Oh..yeah, do check. You might actually find an intriguing blurb. If not, then you can fall back on fiction :)
@Speedy: Fantasy will be completed tomorrow. I was occupying myself in other activities on the weekend so 😄Hows the award winner category book coming along ?
@RF: That's fine. And with the speed you're reading, I don't doubt you'll complete it soon. :DCompleted the award Winner category now. Half of a Yellow Sun
I really liked the writing. At places I didn't connect to the instances but at others could feel the loss and pain that comes with war, especially with what's happening currently.

I'll start the book to movie category, The Golden Compass tomorrow.
@Speedy: Was thinking of The Paid Companion for Fiction 2004.There were other crime/scifi/fantasy based fiction novels but I decided to stay away from those genres for a while. I wanted something similar to The Midnight Library or The Unhoneymooners
I found This Lullaby, I Am the Messenger. I'm not too keen on the blurbs, but if I don't find anything else then will choose one of them. Please do suggest for YA - 2002, if any.
@RF: That's quick! Will update.I completed The Golden Compass, the book to movie category.
Updated in msg1.
For fiction, you have finalized the paid companion then?
@RF: I have not started translation yet, caught up in work. Will try to start tonight/tomorrow.How's your reading going on?
Sure.Btw, I'm switching my YA and Translation years because I just found that Kafka on the Shore is 2002. It's a bit long but should be fine.
YA, I now have to search for 2009. Since I have yet to search, if you want 2009 for fiction instead of 2004, then we can change the years.
@Speedy : didnt find any good blurb similar to what I was looking for. I'll start fiction/2004 paid companion tomorrow. = )
@RF: Sure!I have yet to start Translation and also have to search for YA 2009. My schedule is running a bit hectic, hopefully will be able to start Kafka on the shore today.
@RF: thats great! It's been hectic for me, I did start translation but couldn't continue due to work. Sigh!
Hoping next week will be able to wrap up translation and YA.
Do pitch in suggestions of YA - 2009, whenever you're free.
