Adult Romance with heroine running from an ex and the hero is a mechanic

I'm not sure if this was an actual book or a really vivid dream I had. I remember the heroine living out of her car and it breaks down near this middle of nowhere town and the hero is a mechanic and fixes the car gor the heroine. The heroine is running from an abusive ex I think. I remember this part where she looks down and realizes that only half of her is tan because thats the half that drives all the time. I think it was 2014-2020. Again, this could have been a really vivid dream but i hope it isn't.
