Cai went to her, instantly regretting pushing her. He bent down next to her, "What's wrong?! Are you okay?!" he asked frantically. He pulled his fingers through her hair, trying to soothe her and himself.

Anira let herself enjoy the soothing feeling for a minute or two before trying to shove him away. "You need to eat... If you won't feed from me then go and find someone..."
Cai stared at her, and then nodded. "Stay in bed. Don't get up for anything. Do you need anything from the town?" he asked. He figured he'd get some things for her, since she was going to be around for awhile.
"I don't know..." She mumbled, curling up on the bed and watching the vampire. She closed her eyes weakly, but they flew open seconds later. "Could you find out about my mother?"
Cai didn't say anything for a moment, and then nodded. It was the least he could do for her, considering he was keeping her trapped away in his home. Cai walked over to Anira and covered her with the blanket. He then turned around and walked out, locking the door behind him.
Anira eventually fell back asleep, curled up into a small ball and making soft sleeping noises. She looked so broken and weak. In the town, the big news was that her mother was prospering from all the publicity of her missing daughter. She could honestly care less.
Cai came back later that day, after killing an insignificant man he found trying to rape a girl. He liked to take out the bad guys, it made him feel a little less awful about himself and what he was. He couldn't say he didn't have a lust to take the innocent either, I mean he took the girl. After he drank his fill, he went to a nearby store in the town. There were many humans there, and he felt disgustingly close to them all. Cai wasn't sure what to get, so he just picked up the things that other people were. He knew a few necessities for humans. He got lots of food, probably too much, he didn't know how much humans ate, just that they needed more than he did. He also got something called "shampoo" and "conditioner". They smelled like strawberry, and plenty of other people were getting them so he figured he would pick it up too. He god toilet paper, paper towels, and other human household necessities he saw other people getting. After, he went to check on the girls mother, to find her practically rolling in popularity from her daughters disappearance. It was a small town, news traveled fast and was held onto, considering nothing else happened. When he got home he told Anira the news about her mother, and laid out the bags so she could look through them.
Anira seemed impassive, not really responding to anything the vampire said. She glanced over the things with dull eyes, not looking in the slightest like the snarky girl from before.
Cai watched Anira, "What's wrong?" he asked. He had brought her all the things she would need to live, and did what she had asked. He didn't understand why she was upset.
"I'm just tired." Anira whispered, closing her eyes. She looked half dead, her skin pale as a sheet.
Cai frowned. "No you're not. Tell me what's wrong," he asked. "please. You need to be well, especially if you're going to be here." he paused a moment "I would offer you blood, but I don't think that's what you want," he chuckled.
"I'm just tired..." Anira said again, her eyes closed as she laid there. She was slipping back into unconsciousness, going limp on the bed.
Cai frowned, watching her go limp. He didn't know what was wrong with her. She slept a lot, and he felt that normal humans didn't sleep nearly this much. What do I do? he wondered to himself, watching her.
After a few moments, Anira began tossing back and forth, stuck in a horrible nightmare. She whimpered, her face tense. Her hair was sprawled all around her, a halo around her pale face.
Cai moved toward her, he had become unsurprised when she lashed out now. She did it very often, and if he kept getting surprised there was no way he would live as long as he was supposed to - which was nearly forever. He stroked her cheek, kneeling next to the bed. "Don't be afraid," he murmured "You'll be okay, I'll protect you."
Anira fell silent at the cold touch of the vampire, an odd calmness coming over her. She lay there, still as a statue. Her face was still contorted with fear, and a few whimpers escaped her mouth.
Cai smiled, something he did not do often, not genuinely at least. He liked that he could calm her down, like maybe she was learning to trust him. If she never did, he would have understood, but she needed her to trust him. He needed her to let him help her become strong, so he could drink from her again.
Anira shifted, leaning into the vampire's fingers, the nightmare fading. After an hour or so, she began to wake, groaning softly and shifting again. ((Sorry it's short, I have a major headache.))
Cai, who had was now laying on top of the sheets next to her, had his eyes closed. He couldn't truly sleep, not like the humans, but he did go into a sort "sleep", when he layed down with his eyes closed like humans do. If he ever needed to kill a large amount of time he did this. It was like being stuck deep in your thoughts, eventually you wake up after several hours. He hadn't moved his hand from her cheek, stroking her cheek with his cold thumb even in his false kind of "sleep".
Anira sucked in a breath and froze, staring at the vampire. She slowly calmed and relaxed again, the motion of his thumb against her cheek soothing.
Cai continued to "sleep", undisturbed by Anira waking up. He was lost in his thoughts, deep in his sort of "sleep".
"Hel... Hello?" She finally whispered, wondering if the vampire was truly asleep. She shivered slightly, his finger ice cold against her skin
Cai's thumb stopped for a second and he held his breath, but he didn't move. After a second, he continued to rub his finger against her skin, breathing as normal again. He didn't need to breath, but is was natural, especially in the sleep.
Anira watched the vampire cautiously before closing her eyes again. She relaxed, Ieaning into his finger, the motion soothing her back to sleep.
Nearly an hour later, Cai opened his eyes. He had fallen into the vampire form of sleep, and he awoke hungry. Very hungry. He pulled the sleeping Anira close to him, not thinking clearly. He ran his nose along her neck, smelling her skin and blood.
Anira groaned softly, starting to wake as the vampire pulled her closer. She blinked, still half asleep, her sluggish and tired mind unable to figure out what was happening.
Cai ran his teeth against her skin, his eyes closed. It was dark outside, presumably night. He had wrapped her in his arms, holding her close, as he did with most of his meals. What was different is that his touch wasn't malicious, but soft. Even subconciously, when his mind was taken over by hunger, he didn't want to hurt her.
Anira let out a moan. It took a few moments for her to realize what was happening. Once she realized, her eyes snapped open, and her breath hitched in her throat. She swallowed hard, the feel of his fangs gently running across her neck almost pleasurable.
Cai wasn't used to hearing moans when he was going to feed, but he liked it. He held her closer, still in a hungry daze. He let his fangs graze against her skin lightly again. He wanted her blood, but there was something else there, another want.
Anira's breath hitched in her throat again, another unbidden moan rising to her lips. She breathed shakily, but didn't dare move. She didn't know what to think... There was fear, but there was also a sort of longing.
Cai's hands tightened on her at the sound of her moan. He moved his hands up to her neck, holding her still as he pushed his fangs against her skin, not quite piercing her yet.
Anira was now almost panting, once more moaning, this time letting it out freely. She leaned against the vampire, honestly still tired and not sure if this was reality or some sort of dream.
Cai grunted in a low tone, finally pushing his teeth into her skin. He drank slowly, not wanting to drain her all at once. He gripped her tighter. He had heard that if a person being drank from relaxed enough, it was enjoyable, although he had never taken blood from a willing person.
Anira gasped, having expected the sharp pain that shooting everywhere. Instead, she was met with a pleasurable feeling, one that warmed her. She let out another moan, tilting her head to the side.
Cai began moving his hand down to her breast, but moved away. He felt that she wouldn't want that, and if she had, she knew what he was doing. He drank slower, sinking his teeth a bit deeper. He wanted this to last, he had never felt anything like it before.
Lost in the feeling of the vampire's bite, Anira pressed against him, her breath coming out in short puffs and moans. She kept her neck tilted, her mind basically comatose with the pleasure.
Cai began to get an erection, something even he had no experienced very often. He did not get with women often, or men for that matter, and did not experience these types of things. He wondered if she noticed, if she cared.
((okay, thats fine, just msg me your response there. If you're not into this kind of thing, though, we can skip it, but I like it lol))
