30.3 - Schatzie's Task : Escaping My Box

When I was raising my 5 children, I only read Historical Fiction or Mystery novels. I’d squeeze in a few minutes of reading time during soccer practice, dance lessons, and maybe before bed time. Now that I have a little more free time, I’ve expanded my reading choices, mostly because of the SRC. This challenge really pushed me out of my tight little box. The two biggest surprises in genres I actually seek out are Fantasy and Health.

So for this challenge, read 2 books. One book 1 and one book 2.

Both books have to be new to you amd they each have to be at least 300 pages.
REQUIRED: State in your post that the books are new to you.

Book 1: Read a nonfiction book with a main page genre of Health.

Book 2: Read a book with a main page genre of Urban Fantasy or Epic Fantasy.

For both books, genres may be standalone or embedded.

You might get lucky - my library system has over a dozen available copies, including one digital copy. I like his books and might pick that one up myself.

Hi Jessica, that one won't work. Health is in fact a MPG, but it also has to be nonfiction.
