Darren Gallentine committed suicide while in treatment, the year his daughter turned 17-years old. His wife Tiffany and his daughters gave Tracy permission to read his file but didn’t want to know themselves. What did you make of their request to her to not come back if the details would destroy their image of the man? Your opinion of how Tracy handled them?

I can understand them requesting not to be told the details. They didn't want to think badly of him. But, if it turned out to be bad, they were going to hear about it eventually on the news. I would have wanted to know to prepare myself.

I could half understand their request, but I don't know how I could have responded under those circumstance. I lean to the side of getting the facts, then trying to deal with them.

I found their request curious at first but after mulling it over, I better understood it. They knew he was running from demons and couldn’t help him. They chose to honor him the best way they could which was to think only the best of him. That’s all they had. Even if the details were later publicized, they still could avoid the media.

I loved how Tracy handled them, recalling when she was in the same situation about her father. She was respectful and considerate.
