Even though the cold case consumed more of Tracy’s mental time, the Collins case seemed to move forward rather quickly. What gave it momentum to question Angela’s statement of facts? What was the turning point for you to question her assertion that it was self defense?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments When Connor Collins came forward claiming he killed his father, it turned everything around. Now they had two people claiming self-defense. Someone had to be lying. They had to question the facts at this point.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I've forgotten whether the son's confession or the defense attorney's recusal came first.

Charlene, I think they both happened around the same time. I can’t remember exactly either.

When the neighbor put a hole in Angela’s timeline, that seemed to be a turning point. They determined that there was a 20-minute lag between the gunshot and the call to 9-1-1. Then they just methodically examined the scene and evidence with things starting to disprove her assertion.

That timeline lag did it for me.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments I agree. Once Angela's phone records came in, we knew something was fishy. She claimed that she called 911 within a few minutes of the murder. She was lying
