YA Realistic Fiction:

book about widower with daughters named emily and sophia, who's getting remarried. emily does not like the woman who her father is getting remarried to, she's emo/goth/wears a lot of black, and gets pregnant while still in school. she ends up with a guy named michael (i think). his other daughter is named sophia, and she's basically perfect, very sweet, etc. the woman who gets married to emily and sophia's father's name starts with a t, i believe. the whole book is very emotional and i cried a few times.

i read this book a few years ago, probably in 2017/2018/2019/pre-covid.
