“That’s right, you never leave the camp alone unless you’re old enough to do so”, she meowed“But I want to go hunting! Mom when can I be a warrior? I’m already old enough right?”, Lavenderkit stood up and jumped on skykit.
“Whoa, calm down we have to talk to the leader first. Later, now it’s your Time to sleep”, the mother said calming them down.

Whisperstar walked into camp and looked around the clearing. He was still trying to get Sunfish off of his mind her blue eyes still haunting him.
Lavenderkit jumped out of the nursery and ran to Whisperstar“Oh mighty leader”, she said “when can I become an apprentice?”, she meowed.
“My dear Owlwhisper. I was granted my nine lives. I am now Whisperstar.” He purred with pride his yellow eyes seeming to glean with happiness. He looked down at Lavenderkit.” Remind me how many moons you are now.”
“Me and my siblings are now 5 moons almost 6”, she meowed happily and amazed by the leader.

“You lovely kits have just a little wait. Once you are six moons I will make you all apprentices and find the best mentors possible” Whisperstar purred softly before he looked back up at Owlwhisper.” How did the meeting with Blazeclan go?”
“YAAAAAY!!! I’m gonna tell Flowerkit and Skykit whoo hoo”, she screamed with joy and went back to the nursery.“Skykit, Flowekit when we turn 6 moons we become apprentices!”
“When we become 6 moons that’s so soon”, she said exited
Moonpaw wandered the camp aimlessly, her mentors untimely death had left her devastated. She hadn’t slept since…
"Hey Moonpaw," Emberpaw said gently. She hoped that Moonpaw was okay. If Owlwhisper had died, she wouldn't know what to do.

“Yeah… sure” moonpaw said, surely some company would make her feel better
"Are you okay? I'm really sorry," Emberpaw said, moving beside her and brushing her lightly with her tail for comfort.
Moonpaw breathed a heavy sight before replying “yeah I’ll be fine, I know they’re living a better life in starclan now” she stared up at the blue sky and wondered, how a sky could be so bright when something so terrible had happened, how the world could go on like nothing happened.
"I'm glad," Emberpaw said. "They made a great contribution to our clan. We'll never forget that." She smiled, trying to make her feel better.
“Your right” moonpaw sighed “the most I can do to honor them is to remember them.”
"Tomorrow is the funeral," Emberpaw said quietly. "You don't have to go."
“No, but I’ll be there anyway,” moonpaw decided
Rosewing went to comfort Moonpaw. "I'm sorry for your loss, Moonpaw. I'll be there at the funeral to pay my respects" she said."I will too" Flamefeather said, nodding his head.
((Rosewing or Flamefeather can be her mentor, I don't care which one))Flamefeather walked up to Owlwhisper, feeling concerned for Moonpaw. "Do you think Moonpaw will be okay, Owlwhisper?" he asked.
Emberpaw meowed, "Good luck in finding a new mentor." Her tail flicked back and forth like a pendulum.
((I can have Whisperstar mentor her. It will help with a little backstory for my gentlemen))Whisperstar nodded and looked over at Moonpaw. The flooding had taken many good lives including his prior apprentice.” All Warriors please come forward for a clan meeting.” He spoke strongly and stood in the usual gathering spot for his clan.
((Also Mitz we should figure out how to continue the secret relationship.))
Moonpaw walked over to the gathering of cats, sitting down next to emberpaw and a few other cats she recognized.
Flamefeather nodded his head. "Yes, I'll make sure she's fine" he said. Owlwhisper's words made me feel better. It was a traumatic and horrible incident, so he wasn't sure how well Moonpaw would take it.
Flamefeather walked away and went to gather with the rest of his Clanmates, sitting next to Moonpaw to make sure she was alright.Rosewing gathered with the others as well, sitting next to Flinchheart, waiting for Whisperstar to speak.
“Our clan has had a rough time recently. Losing both our deputy and beloved leader. I hope to one day impress this clan and prove that I’m up for this position.” Whisperstar began looking at his clan proudly.” Today if my lovely medicine cat also approves I have a couple of kits who are going to be six moons in a couple of days. I would like to give them the chance to start learning our ways so we can rebuild this clan.” He looked at Owlwhisper to seek her approval on his choice

“First Moonpaw.. you are a great apprentice and have showed much loyalty to our clan. Today I will be giving you a new mentor. Please step forward and also would Flamefeather step forward. You have shown Moonpaw such kindness I hope you will also do that as you train her to become a great warrior.” Whisperstar looked on proudly as his eyes scanned the crowd again.” Skykit please step forward.”
“Skykit for your mentor I will be choosing myself. I see a lot of myself in you and would love to help you grow into a warrior the clan will pride itself in.” Whisperstar walked forward to touch noses with Skykit.” From this moment forward you will be know and Skypaw.” He proclaimed.((I don’t know if Calala is on))
Flamefeather looked at surprise. He walked up to the HighRock and smiled at Moonpaw. He dipped his head to Whisperstar. "Thank you, Whisperstar. It's an honor to be chosen as Moonpaw's mentor." he said, He looked at Moonpaw. "I will do the best I can to teach you everything I know" he said.
Emberpaw smiled. She was glad that Moonpaw was getting a new mentor. Hopefully, Flamefeather would help her past her grief.
Moonpaw dipped her head to flamefeather, she was pleased to have a new mentor, and thought flamefeather would do a great job. Truly she felt that she was ready to get back to work.

“Lavenderkit please step forward… for you I’ve chosen Rosewing as your mentor.” Whisperstar purred out and waited for Rosewing to step forward to greet her apprentice.” Please continue to teach with Kindness.” He waited a moment as they touched noses.” From this moment on you will be known as Lavenderpaw.” He stated calmly and waited for the cheers to die down.“Flowerkit please step forward.. I have chosen Nectarcry. I hope you learn well.” Whisperstar stated and watched them touch noses also.” You will now be known as Flowerpaw.” He purred out and looked at Owlwhisper.” Before I conclude this meeting do you have anything to add for our clan?”

Rosewing walked up and sat next to Lavenderpaw, smiling at her new apprentice. "I will do my best to pass down all of my knowledge to you" she told her.
Emberpaw looked at Owlwhisper, trying her best to smile. She had a bad feeling in her gut... Something would go wrong.
“I won’t disappoint you!”, she said confident to Rosewing.“I will be a very good warrior”, she meowed and posed like a warrior.
“Yeah! I’m gonna be the best warrior I can!”, Lavenderpaw said confident.“When are we gonna start fighting tho?”, she asked with a tone that she wanted to do it right now.
“Hey “,Lavenderpaw threw herself back in Skypaw “I’m gonna be stronger!”, she meowed
Lavenderpaw stopped and sat down next to their siblings listening carful to every word from the meeting.“Who do think is gonna be deputy?”, she asked curiously to her siblings
“Daddy is a pretty good warrior”, Lavabder suggested“Im so exited”, she said and jumped up but sat immediately down.
