Hi ya'll, I'm Asen. I am big sci-fi and horror fan, been one since I read The Colour out of Space as a teen and was so terrified I genuinely considered not engaging with anything spooky ever again. I ended up swinging hard in the other direction instead haha

Hello everyone. My name is Sean, and to be completely honest, I'm not only new to GoodReads but frankly "new" to reading physical books in general. I've spent many years playing through story-rich, text heavy RPGs until I realized a couple years ago that what I really enjoy the most is a well written story. That being said, what I enjoy the most is science fiction, fantasy, horror, historical fiction, and combinations of those! I tend to gravitate towards works that touch on psychological themes and all of the common themes that make up cosmic horror. In fact, speaking of cosmic horror, I'm currently reading through the "H.P. Lovecraft the Complete Fiction" published by Barnes & Noble. Hoping to find some fantastic recommendations for future reads through this group!

Hi! My name is Mary. I mostly enjoy science fiction and fantasy (romantasy too) but I recently got into thrillers and horror! I love horror movies so the move into reading thrillers and horror made sense. I think I prefer supernatural/folk horror with cryptids but enjoy a good murder mystery thriller. Science fiction though was my first love with reading. A good dystopian novel is generally my go to but I am broadening my horizons over the last 2 years.
