Thanks, Marie!
Hey! My favorite genres of reading are supernatural, horror, splatter punk ( I love gore), science fiction and true crime! I always prefer a book over a kinda or audiobook tho I do love podcasts. Two girls one ghost and Morbid have me by the throat currently. I love thrifting books and going to used bookstores so I tend to be a little behind on newer horror. Currently I am reading DOC and The playground. Excited be in a group with all you fellow wierdos!
Hello, I'm Morganne, and I JUST started getting back into reading for the first time since my teens, and I'm scrambling to find good books. I'm mostly grabbing whatever my library has to offer because free books are the best books. Horror is my favorite genre of any media, followed up by fantasy and sci-fi, so any mix of those is welcome. When I'm not reading or watching spooky movies, I'm a pretty decent visual artist and full time parent. Can't wait to get to know some of you good folks <3

I was a badass used bookstore shopper when I was a teenager and in my 20's visiting my dad in Poland, most of my favorite horror collection by Graham Masterton is in Polish, mostly used books too, and it's still funny to this day to read him in English, always feels different lol. Thank you for joining us Sami!

Welcome friend, glad to have you! I see you're reading Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison, that series rocked my world when I started it, I got pretty far but wondering if I should do a re-read before continuing. Anyways sorry to ramble :) welcome :)

There are some parts that I don't think aged very well but its a fun little time killer for when I actually do have free time lol.

Hello! I'm Morte, huge horror fan and recently also started to read horror books. I enjoy splatterpunk the most until now, but also love a good supernatural horror. Next to horror I also enjoy (Dark) Fantasy, with a little bit of romance. Thank you for having me!

Hi. I'm Allen, but I go by the name Abbrah Kahdavver. I'm a reclusive, self taught writer, with a morbid fascination for anything horror related. I've written a few Short stories and put them on KDP, which I'm really proud of, even if they aren't very good.I'll probably just be lurking, but I may pop up from time to time.
Hi Abrrah! No idea why but your name made me think of a goat I had for FFA in high school that I named Abba Kadaba lol. Welcome to the group 😁
Howdy! My name is Kris and I have been a lover of horror, short stories, Clive Barker, Stephen King, Anne Rice, etc. since I wasn't allowed to read/watch their stories. I'm a former academic who is re-discovering my love of non-dense reads, and would love to know what everyone is reading for fun to get scared!

Welcome to the group, Kris!
Thanks for some great read ideas! I just wrapped up T Kingfisher (Ursula Vernon) What Moves the Dead- wasn’t my fave from her (The Twisted Ones was my first intro), but I will eventually finish up the second part. I was impressed with a small publisher Doll House by John Hunt- it was like Se7en but as a short novel, it was so intense! Hated the second follow up Olivia though. King is a standby, just picked up Bazaar of Bad Dreams from Goodwill and wanna revisit it!

I enjoyed The Twisted ones, it was so creepy! Her first for me was Nettle & Bone on audio, T. Kingfisher gives some of the best quotable material out there, such as "the history of the world was written in women’s wombs and women’s blood" gah...
