They seem to be very regional based and sometimes only for premium members in US, instead of all members in US, which causes frustration for a lot of members!

I haven't heard of this one before but tons on Reddit recommended in the sale announcement thread. I tried a sample and it seems fun. Not sure when I'll get a chance to get to it yet unfortunately.

Oh, good. I am hit or miss with Nonfiction too, but this looked interesting and the narrator sounded good to me. Glad to hear it's good. Will try to do a lot of audio this TT while working.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6535 comments If you enjoy cozy mysteries and have Kindle Unlimited, this series is excellent and all have musical items on the cover, and have musical performances in the books. There are five books in the series.

Murder in G Major (Gethsemane Brown Mysteries, #1) by Alexia Gordon

Kerri (kerrimcbooknerd) | 1200 comments Oop, that snuck up faster than I was expecting, for some reason! I felt like the 15th was still like a week away, lol. That's good, though, because a lot of my library holds are already in, which means I won't have to wait as long as I though to start them!

Vicky (librovert) | 3137 comments I just realized when looking at the countdown timer that the 15th is SUNDAY - I totally thought it was Saturday!

What is everyone currently reading/trying to wrap up before the challenge starts?

I should finish Kiss My Cupcake today or tomorrow and I probably won't start anything new until Sunday (I have a wedding Saturday so it won't hurt too much not to read that day!).

I am dragging two books into the challenge that unfortunately won't count since I'm currently reading both Exhalation (short stories) and The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story (nf historical essays) but taking them one story/chapter at a time.

I picked up The Travelling Cat Chronicles from the library last week so I'm all set to start that Sunday! And The Book of Cold Cases is being transferred so I'll have that for June. I might also try to knock out either a Y or U (I have one of each out in physical form from the library, but I'm not confident I'll get both by the end of the month - most of my reading is audio!).

I am currently going through the library books that I have out to see what would fit the challenge. I do have about 6 books that I have been reading, not sure they would be wrapped up before the challenge begins, but I need them for other challenges.

Stormie ~ Book Dragon ~ (stormiebookdragon) | 273 comments Stars on cover Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

I have plenty of HIstorical Fiction books, but that is already taken.

I'm trying to finish the audiobook of The Magician's Nephew so I can continue the rest of the Narnia series to be used for challenge. Short books but The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe works for the mini and are easy for challenges as short audio reads. I finished a romance last night, now getting a small page count YA out of the way so I can return it to YA. It's not worth anything for the challenge.

I plan to read a lot of large kitten-squisher books but already also read some shorties.

I plan to start reading at 4 for a series since I usually go through those fast if they are good - so it may be three books finished earlier, one working for mini challenge I reserved and other two for the spell it out. If I dont like the first book in the series, I won't bother with the other two though and will just move on to something else ;)

Also planning to start Great Gatsby for the mini 'tragedy' and it's short side, and Firestarter for my first King read of the challenge.

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) | 1359 comments I've been a little MIA the last couple of days. Had dr appts etc with my parents, and picked up my grandsons today. They will be going on home on 15th before my start time lol of 3 pm CST.

Right now, I am just reading/finishing up some books for other challenges. I'm also reading some graphic novels. Those are my guilty pleasure "palette" cleansers that I read in between heavier books.Kinda keeps me from falling into that dreaded reading slump. I'm also reading some plays that are rather short for a challenge, That's been a nice change as well.

Just to make sure and clarify so I don't make a mistake right off the bat LOL I claimed the task letters of HYMN in title and letters CLD in title in Post #72. But my name is only by the HYMN one. That’s alright it wasn’t until I put the countdown clocks up that I realised it was 9pm and not 9am, like the last couple of NBRC challenges. I may start a couple of chapters of a physical/ebook Sunday night if I manage to get my final book that I’m currently reading Other done

Put some books on the tracker that I am going to try and read in the challenge. My first audio that I’m going for is Jane Eyre I’ve also got The Travelling Cat Chronicles ready to go.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 6535 comments At least it's finally Friday evening here. Monday is going to be a busy work day for me in the office so I can audio sometimes - would be great if I could have a read-a-thon weekend, but at least I can start on Sunday my time at 4 and have some hours to read and get a jump start on the challenge in between my evening friend meeting. Time has been going by but the wait can be intense!

My aunt and uncle are moving back to Texas on Thursday, so we did our last wine night at their place tonight - was depressing, but enjoyed seeing them.

So far we seem to all have been going by the unspoken rule of choosing two each so far lol, so I am fine personally with that. I have books that will work for it but none I was planning on unless we needed an emergency book to cover later. Can't wait to start my "King" royal book/series and hope I enjoy the trilogy.

I head back home this evening and get home tomorrow. I’ll take a look at everything then and pick a book or two. Too bad it doesn’t start earlier as I’ve got about 15 hours of travel time. Hopefully I’ll be able to sleep on the longest flight. I’ll be much more active once I’m back home.

Kerri (kerrimcbooknerd) | 1200 comments I just finished up Amelia Unabridged, which is probably the only book that I'm currently reading that I'll be able to finish before go time tomorrow. I have to work this weekend but then I'm off for two weeks! My parents are visiting, but I know I'll have some great reading time in between being out with them.

I got The Travelling Cat Chronicles from the library, as well, and will be starting that tomorrow! I'm also planning on starting The Atlas Six tomorrow, too. I'll take a peek through the rest of my library books to see if there's anything else I can claim on the mini list.

Just curious if that would work!

I would say that the instrument needs to be visible, I don't think this one will work as you cannot actually see the guitar.

Stormie ~ Book Dragon ~ (stormiebookdragon) | 273 comments Well, it looks like today we start, however, I may be a bit late in starting as the starting time is 1300 for me and I have to be leaving for work at that time, but I have time to read at work. Depending on how busy it is, depends on how much I can read, but I know I will have at least my lunch and another two hours to read, which should get me through most of the book I chose.
