Christy (christylau) | 8 comments Read around 2005-2010. The title is an uncommon name and the final name on the main character's list of people. At one point she visits Vichy.

Thanks!!

Capn | 3506 comments Hey Christy,
Do you remember why the parents are missing? (What kind of list? Has there been a war or a disaster or something?)

Christy (christylau) | 8 comments Hi! No, there wasn't a war or natural disaster. The parents were somehow forbidden from each other, partly because the mother's twin was also in love with the father. It was even hidden from the twin that the daughter (main character) was her father's child. The twin finds out when she is an infant (I think due to her having her father's hair colour?) and the parents disappear soon after. The child ends up being raised by her bitter aunt.

The handwritten list of names was either given to or discovered by her. It was a list of people that she then travelled the world to find to learn more about her parents' story.

Christy, did her mother work in the circus - or was she in the audience when she met the father?

Why does she think the list is important? How does she afford traveling around the world? Where does she live?

What is the story's time period and location?

I copied a few details to the header/ topic title. Feel free to edit it.

Christy (christylau) | 8 comments I think the mother did work in the circus, and the twin was an aerialist? The list is important to the daughter because they’re names of people who could bring her closer to the truth of her parents’ disappearance. How she afforded it I can’t recall, perhaps funded by her adult chaperone, Bast? Thanks!!
