personally, Romeo&Juliet has my entire heart. Little women by Louisa May Alcott is also a very good one to start! and Pride&Prejudice by Jane Austen!
i really like oscar wilde's writing! you should try "the picture of Dorian Gray", it's very interesting! However, the film adaptation sucks.
Northanger Abbey by Jane AustenThe heroine is truly relatable if this is the first time you're reading a classic, she adores daydreaming & living into a fictional world. The ideal start if you want to read about a character with a vivid imagination.
It is really long, but David Copperfield by Charles Dickens was really, really amusing and the pacing of the book was executed almost perfectly - this was definitely one of his better works!!Also, I would recommend classical plays (especially for beginners to this genre). Pygmalion is a great play and it is quite funny - there's also a musical based on it, so that might help you understand it better as well.
Pride and Prejudice, A Streetcar Named Desire, Anne of Green Gables, The Great Gatsby, A Christmas Carol, A Little Princess! 💗📚
the great gatsby, romeo and juliet, little women, emma, the picture of dorian gray, frankenstein, the bell jar!
