My very favorite series is Nameless and the second is the Jane Hawke series."
I loved Jane Hawk too!!!! Have listened to just the first three Nameless stories. Definitely on the more violent side (that LION), but still love the premise. Thanks for your comment!

Thank you to everyone who has commented in this thread.

I don't know how to allow more than one vote per person."
I'm getting greedy seeing all the books I would love to win this nomination!

I could definitely do that.
I could definitely do that.

Hi Vonda,
You can change your vote easily...Can you tell I want Lightening to win? HAHA

There will be at least one series featured this Summer (possibly two). We already have discussion folders for each series set up on the discussion board (homepage). A new discussion thread will be set up for each book, there are five Jane Hawk novels and five Frankenstein novels (these are the series most likely to be featured). The older discussion threads from when the series were previously featured will still be available to browse and comment.

Most likely there will be at least two stand-alone novels and at least one series featured.
After the polls close, there will still be choices about how many Dean Koontz books you want to read this summer.
The Big Dark Sky is a new JULY release.

Lightning is doing well on both polls and will most likely be featured.
We will probably not be featuring Odd Thomas. I know you nominated it, but Jane Hawk and Frankenstein have not been featured in recent years - since they are both doing well on the polls we can probably feature those two series this summer. Moonlight Bay/Chris Snow was featured last summer.
Anyone can vote or change their vote through Sunday, but right now the winning contenders are Jane Hawk and Frankenstein for Series, Lightning and Watchers for Stand-alones.

Well, there were certainly a lot of nominations to narrow down :-)
We'll know for sure in a week and I'll set up the discussion threads next week.

Thank you to everyone who nominated titles and voted on the polls to select our Summer Group Reads. Winning titles stayed pretty consistent with no last-minute shake ups in the polls.
Two series and two stand-alone novels will be featured during Summer 2022. I'll get the new discussions set up this week, but you can get your books ready now :-)
Winning Selections:
Jane Hawk Series
Frankenstein Series
Watchers
Lightning

Please post here during the month of April what you would like to read this Summer. I'll plan to create a poll based on the nominations by the end of the month. I'm anticipating the Summer Group Read starts Memorial Day Weekend and Ends Labor Day Weekend. We can feature more than one title. We will already be featuring Dean's new summer release, The Big Dark Sky (July New Release), so nominate previous released titles that'd you like to read.
Thank you!
