Q: Can teammates read the same book for a task?
A: There are a couple of tasks where the team needs to read different books, but if it doesn't specifically say that you are free to read the same book.
Q: Are audio only books allowed for this challenge?
A: If the audio only book is at least 6 hours long - it will count as a book towards a book total or as 150 pages towards the page total depending on what the task requires.
Q: What are the rules if the book is so bad you can’t finish it?
A: I will accept DNFs if you read to the minimum page count of this challenge (150 p.) AND 70% of the book. Books need to be a minimum of 250 pages using the first edition Kindle page count. You must also state that the book is a DNF and explain why in your completion, including the page number you finished on as well. The page you finished on would be the number counted for tasks that ask the team to read a certain number of pages.

For 99 this is my understanding: each teammate pick 2 of other teammates favorites and reads them. Cannot read from our favorites and can choose books from same or different teammates. Is that correct.8 books total

If it is a large city, that is easy. But you are free to use the state if within the US or country if outside the US.

On that note, I will be away all day Monday and won't be able to check this challenge. Leaving before sunrise and likely won't get home until after midnight. Because of the late night, I probably won't be here to answer any questions until late morning at best. But I should have time to answer anything that comes up before the first task is announced.

The books need to be listed in a series on GR - I would like to be able to see the series page. But without links, it is hard to answer specifically as to series you asked about though. I am pretty sure that they don't need to be numbered series.

So you can't read a book more than once for a challenge task. I do want you to actually read/listen to the book though - not just skim it or play the audio at 5x while you sleep. 😉

I am sure we are all aware of the nightmare taking place in Ukraine over the past month and a half. To honor the Ukrainians’ strength and sorrow, the first task is to read a book with a color from the Ukrainian flag. Teams decide which color, blue or yellow. The selected book need to be primarily the selected color. No pass for this task.
ETA: You may use any edition's cover to qualify for this task. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts.
