Ariel ~ I, too, didn't see the message because I was working today. LOL! I'd love to be on a team with you and maybe we can find two more from the list that is still looking?
I used to read historical romance. One of my favorite books is

Just jumping in to say that Eloisa James, Tessa Dare, Courtney Milan, Sherri Thomas, and Sarah MacLean are the only ones I read anymore. They NEVER disappoint me.
For MM, my usual, I can always recommend KJ Charles, and Alexis Hall's Something Fabulous is an absolute delight.

That is fine with me!

I try to read usually 7-10 books, depending on my mood that month. I would probably like to be on a team that is doing it for fun and picking tasks instead of hardcore competing.
I read contemporary romance only and young adult contemporary romance. I have been dabbling into the mm genre and really enjoy them. I also really enjoy sports romances.
I am not a fantasy, scifi, or mystery fan at all. I can do romantic suspense at times.

I am definitely down for being on a team together so we just need two more people, right? Thanks for the recommendations! I will definitely check it out.

I don't read M/F anymore, but Julie Garwood was one of my go-to historical authors back in the day! I didn't know that she had quit writing them... so sad. :'(

To make things easier, the following are still looking for teams:

Kirsten

Hi MKat!
I've been down with a cold and missed a msg from Kristen. She'd asked to join M, Kira, and I. We'd love to have her. Sorry for the delay in response @Kirsten. Welcome!
I know we have a team of 4, but if @Shan~A~ would like to race with us, M and I would love to have her back as well!

Please confirm how you want to proceed. 😊

Hi again - We're good to go with Kristen. In looking at the team's shelves, I can find some similarities. I can also find authors who write in both the MM and MF realms.
I've been going through the Team decision, no pass tasks. The most difficult ones I see thus far are the two author picks and the home town one. Author picks may be slim as I was pulling only from the authors I could find on our shelves as they are "known". This is a further discussion we will have as a team.
I believe we can have a team where we all are able to read our favorite areas and be a strong team together.
Thanks for checking MKat!!

ETA: Looking at the categories, there aren't many that couldn't apply to MM books, and when we get one that doesn't, I can easy peasy read an MF.
What Maggie said, MKat, and thanks for checking on us. I looked at this team before I asked to join, and saw some overlap. I also love challenges for finding new books and getting things off my TBR. I think this will work (and Maggie's organizational skills have me v impressed).

@Stacie, Laura, LaurLa and Louise - I'll get you added. 😊"
Thanks, Stacie for making sure I was included! And Mkat for letting me check-in late... I'm officially signing up with our team with this post 😂

I haven't been speaking to my team but I'm sure we would be fine with having an additional teammate.

Not you, it is a primarily MM reader. 😊

Yes, I will get you on a team! 😊

Thanks Gustaf!

Our team could probably do one more too. We are only slightly competitive, but we read a lot....

There is one team of 5 and two teams of 3, that seemed best after looking at profiles and shelves to make sure you might be compatible. I will adjust tasks up or down as needed to accommodate the different sizes. If I forget to make an adjustment, please ask! In my hurry to get new tasks out in the mornings, I often do it before food or caffeine and will forget that some teams have more or less teammates. Probably not the smartest thing I do, but probably not the dumbest either! 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I think you meant Team 7. 😊"
Dang it. we were team 4 last round. sorry about that lol

Sudafed... a wonder drug for those of us that suffer from sinuses and allergys! Feel better soon!

I don't have Santa Ana winds to blame, but I've been fighting a cold/allergy thing with a sometimes whopping headache for going on two weeks! I feel your pain!

Ugh! I hope yours ends soon! I don't have 2 weeks, big plans with the two older grandkids on Monday and I have no other adult backup - so it's all me!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! 🤞

I have mostly read m/f in the past but I am more than open to reading any type of romance book. In terms of genre's, I find that I either stick to the mystery/thriller or that sickly sweet stuff (lol) but once again, I really am open to anything. If anyone can recommend a good historical romance, it's the only genre I've never read. :)
