Welcome Julia, Amber and Dondra!
Julia, like that you've joined us to help find ways to get your nephews interested in reading! I've changed the description of the group for you all important and loving aunt's and uncle's. :)

Welcome both! Yes, the books have been accidentally geared more for the little ones, but from now on we will have two books on the go. For Big ones and small ones :)

Hi Roseanne,
Thanks for this message :)
I've now set up a folder, called Recommended, where anyone can add books they've enjoyed reading! I will then add these books to our 'currently reading' list so we can all read, enjoy and share!

looking forward to following some of your recommendations.

Same :) I tutor young children so any ideas to get them excited about literacy will be much appreciated :)

That's a great idea!! Thanks!

Hi Danielle, sounds like we're similar! I do the same for my girls (12 and 13).
Hope you start finding some recommendations here! and likewise, share with us your successes with your boys.

I love telling stories and wanted to expose my work to a small group. I picked you guys. You seem perfect. I am looking forward to participating in the group, especially the books for the little ones.
I have 3 books out now and 2 more at the publishers with more planned. Let's see what happens? Any and all comments are welcome.
Thanks ya'll!
Hi Sam! welcome to our group, you sound like the kind of member we all want with us :)
Hope you join in with some of our discussions, polls and recommendations! Or if not, find some nice books to add to your to-read-list.
Send me a direct message if you like, about your books and if you'd like to be under our author spotlight!
Take care

Hope your well!
Hope your well!

As the bookworm parent of a bookworm 3.5 year old, I'm always looking for good books that we can read together. Of course she loves picture books, but she also enjoys when I read her chapter books.
I'm looking forward to your recommendations.
N.B. for full disclosure: I am also a children's book author (

Hope you find some good recommendations, and give some! Will also look out for your books too! and give you an honest review.

This is a great book to read to young kids too."
