The End of Loneliness (underrated af and is guaranteed to make you cry & one of my all time fave books)
Definitely the Full Tilt duet by Emma Scott. It made me cry sm even though I already knew how the first book was going to end :(
I just wrote one that made me bawl throughout the process.I have a few openings for beta readers if you're into emotional destruction.😅 Here's the premise:
Nessa Bailey has spent the past seven years grieving not just the death of her brother, but the loss of her best friend, Christian York, following the car accident that killed Silas and sent Christian to prison. She is buried in grief and knows she has to forgive him to move on, but she suspects there's more to the accident and when the book opens--the day Christian gets out of prison--she confronts him. He ignores her, and she becomes enraged to the point of destroying his car and getting arrested.
Christian York wants to leave the small town where he became infamous for the accident that killed his best friend, but he can't do so until he finishes his community service... at the same place Nessa has been assigned to complete hers after her arrest. The feelings they had for each other before the accident resurface, proving once and for all that they are inexorably drawn to each other despite the circumstances.
The books flashes back and forth between their perspectives in childhood and their perspectives in adulthood to show how things got to this point, and it's all about love and forgiveness and trauma and grief.
