The Love Interest is a famous actor who started acting as a teen and left school for it. He was in his home town for something and met the heroine of the story. She is waiting untill marriage and a large part of the book is him respecting her boundaries.
SPOILERS HERE
Love Intrest has a niece who is into drugs and breaking rules and her boyfriend. Niece isn't a fan of Heroine when they first meet but Niece gets pregnant at 15/16 and there's drama. Heroine talks to Niece and calms her down and explains that herself is waiting untill marriage and asks if the boyfriend respects Niece. Niece breaks up with boyfriend and gets better behaved.
