Romance book I read in 2021. A girl around 14 tries to get with her brother’s best friend but he says he’s too old. Her dad finds out they kissed and gets him sent away. They see eachtoehr again years later at a party.

Romance novel i read this year. It’s about a girl around 14 and she likes her older brother’s best friend. One night after getting into a fight (he got into fights a lot), he went to her house looking for her brother. When she said he wasn’t home, he stayed with her watching a movie. She tried to make a move on him but he kept saying she was too young and she kept saying she was old enough. She kept insisting and he kissed her back. A girl saw them together and took pictures and emailed it to her dad. Her dad made him disappear but never told her anything about it. Years later a guy asked her to a party. He carried her because they were going in an abandoned place or tunnel. She felt his eyes and turned and saw him and her brother. She freaked out and told her friend. I don’t remember what happened after this. Her brother would try to get him to talk to her because he said she was heartbroken and would cry when he left and he knew that they were close and he was a good friend to her. They end up hanging out together on a boat or racing on jet skis. (I can’t remember which it is but I think they were racing on jet skis and a guy cut her off and her brother’s bestfriend went after them and yelled at them for her. when he came back he was angry.) he told her to tell her brother whatever excuse so they could leave together. They went back to his truck and we’re kissing and he told her that she ruined his life and he hates her. She was confused because she thought he was the one that left with no warning but he thought that she was the one who told her dad to send him away.
