Adult Thriller plot based on Macbeth set in modern day. scientist gets frustrated because he wants to be head scientist. set in London? main character works at a research lab and is doing research with rats. Spoilers ahead.

i read this book somewhere around 2018-2019 i remember the plot was based off of macbeth. i know that in the end the scientists wife convinces him to push the current head scientist off of a cliff after inviting his family to there holiday house. he is found out after he forgets to pay the water bill for that house so the pipes unfreeze and a test tube is found in the pipes that cotains evidence he forged some scientific data. also remeber that he worked with rats alot and i think framed one of his partners for having porn on his work computer to stop him talking? also there was the "three witches" characters that are some young girls that do maintanence around his work. th begining of the book is at a party and that is where the main character first meets his wife. if anyone knows the title that would be brilliant!
