The book is about this girl, she wants to be a fashion designer. i think she starts the series having just started high school and ends it as a senior. she wants to do fashion design, and enters the pilot season of a fashion design contest for children/young adults. one of the challenges was to work with people to create a dress out of either duct tape of newspaper, her group went with newspaper. another challenge was to make a dress inspired by what i think was a theme park, and she made a cotton candy inspired skirt out of tulle and won that challenge. Another plot point of the series is her getting an internship with some fashion designer, and at the end of the internship, she has to go to this event where everyone is required to wear black. Another plot point is her college application, I know that one of the colleges she applied to was Fashion Institute of Technology, or FIT. The last book that I remember in the series is about her designing all these dresses for her prom. The series also has her slowly becoming more friendly with her frenemy. She does fall in love with this fashion designers kid. I believe I read the book somewhere around 2017-2018, but that's just my best guess. The book does have these dress sketches all throughout the pages. I read the book on Epic, The covers all feature a sketch of a girl wearing some type of dress or outfit. The book was published in English, and I believe the author was female.
