4 mc all have last names from cardinal directions (north, south, east, west) i think the pov character was named west and is a 16 yo girl. she wakes up with no memory at a mall and some crazy stuff happens and a boy who knows about her collects her and explains stuff. her and the 3 others have some kind of chip in their brains i think that resets their memory without this special serum of some kind that they have to take every day. Read the book around 2014-2016 i believe in USA, book was in english. I think the author was a woman. was set in modern day USA though i don't remember anything more specific than that. i think it was setting up to be a full series which is why i want to find it again. the cover had a memory chip on the front and was greyscale. i think it was called something like "memory" or "chip" or something like that. was a physical book as well.
