Teenagers get high in a dad's donut truck which leads to infected donuts in the break room of a convention center. The events manager for the center is trying to manage a community bake-off and an early arrival of pro wrestlers. The bake-off ladies are not excited to share the venue, the wrestlers are not great at being corralled and the manager needs to pick up her kids or jeopardize custody. Then the wrestlers eat the donuts turning into brain eating zombies and the fun really begins as they are somehow all locked in together without cell reception.
The story is fun, campy and told in the style of sports announcer. It is gory and graphic but also somehow touches on identity and empathy. The characters are quirky. The pace is action packed as expected with zombies who stop at nothing to eat more. Enjoy as a fun romp. Not the same depth as The Only Good Indians but fun horror.
