I was surprised that the Amazon review was approved in about 30 minutes. My reviews in Group 298 took much longer, over a week in one case. I'm quite puzzled by the inconsistency -- do you have any insight about that?

Absolutely none I'm afraid.

I post my reviews to both the UK and US sites and have had the review for the same book approved for one right away and the other a week later - and had that happen in both directions with different books. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

I have noticed a general trend though, at least as it pertains to me. The more reviews you post on Amazon, the faster they seem to post it. Maybe there's a reliability factor at play, I'm not sure.
