I've had some problems with my GR messages not going through recently, which seems to be the case with the messages I've sent to my reviewers in this round as well. For any of my reviewers who would like me to send them a copy of the novel, please let me know; I can provide pdf, epub or mobi formats (I seem to be able to receive DM messages and to reply to them OK.)

First out of the gate, John. Very good.

The round order is not a hard and fast rule. However, it does allow for everyone to get one review in each time frame, which is what I personally like about it. It doesn't matter in your case, John, as you are far ahead of the deadline for this round anyway.

If possible, please shorten your Amazon links. It's good practice for social media anyway and takes out all the extra blurb that connects us all when we click on it (is my understanding).

FYI you can shorten your GR link by deleting the ? onwards - good for social media to do that.

Shortening the Amazon URL
1). In the URL bar highlight the word ref and everything after it (my favourite keyboard shortcut for this is to click the cursor before the r of ref and use the Ctrl+Shift+End buttons)
2). Hit the delete key.
3). Press enter (your review should still show in the refreshed page and the URL is shorter)
4). Copy the URL and paste it into your message on this thread.

FYI Ctrl+Shift+End/arrow keys work in Word and other programs too. If you don't use the Shift key in this combo it doesn't highlight, just moves the cursor. Works when highlighting Excel cells too! Ctrl+Home also works in FB and other programs to get you to the top of your page quickly - less scrolling!
