That's right, 'just' need to get to the bottom right.
If anyone knows a book that starts with the word One, I'd be very happy to hear about it. Otherwise I'm working on skipping a task.

One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
One Second After by William Forstchen
One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus

The Crying of Lot 49 starts with "One summer day", if you don't mind post modernist books. This one wasn't really my cup of tea, but on the upside: it is short. :)

It says you aren't accepting messages
GR has changed it's rules on messaging to stop spam. I'll add you as a friend amd that should solve the problem.

But as it's an ever changing list, I'm just stating that I'll be reading the first Witcher book, which is currently at 151 ;)
(Assuming of course that when an entry is an entire series, reading just the first in that series is ok, lol)

I had that problem the other day, which is why it's good it keeps changing! lol.

East - I need an even number of pages. I didn't remember seeing Elantris! I did write down Arcanum Unbounded but wasn't ready to read that yet as I still have a few of the Mistborns to read. I'll go check it out again, maybe stuff has shifted around.

Thanks!!! :D

Thanks!!! :D"
Woohoo! Glad you've got something fun! :D
Alright, as it seems that I am never going to read a book that fits the "Read a book shelved (listed on the first page on GR) as juvenile" task, I'm just going to spell out Skip with books I've finished since that task has popped up. (Only my second task on this maze I might add haha.)
S - The Cat Who Saved Books by Sosuke Natsukawa - reason: author
K - Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell (in an old German edition that has no ISBN listed and is a pain to hunt down in the list here) - reason: character Frank Kennedy
I - Eon by Alison Goodman - reason: character Lord Ido
P - The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch - reason: author
Eta: And I'm taking the liberty of using up the books I've finished since then for any other tasks - SHOULD something fit.
I should have done the Skip thing right away instead of hoping I'd accidentally stumble across a juvenile book I'd like to read. Not likely to happen haha.

Books related to mythology might have "the chariot" in them. I found a couple on Troy

Can confirm that mythology-related books are definitely your best bet here.
From what's on my kindle...
I've double-checked them all so they're definitely "the chariot" (and not "a chariot" or "your chariot").
Books I've read and really enjoyed:
The Song of Achilles
Norse Mythology
Oliver Twist
A Tale of Two Cities
+ "the" title: The Hidden Oracle (and from that series also The Dark Prophecy & The Burning Maze)
Haven't read yet:
The Universe Versus Alex Woods
Wives and Daughters

The Eagle and the Raven
Pyramids
The Thief Of Time
Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City
adding:
The Silence of the Girls
Pilate's Wife
The Thief (I think. I've an omnibus edition, so could be Queen of Attolia)
Stardust

Pilate's Wife
The Thief (I think. I've an omnibus edition, so could be Queen of Attolia)
Stardust

Others got it for me so I am good, but I needed "the chariot" as a phrase versus "a chariot" or "her chariot" etc.

Task: Read a book where a pet name starts with the letter J

oh my gosh...that's terrible...how would you even begin to start looking for that?! *hits head on table for you*

Good to know. Not that I am find of classics... I'm a terrible mood reader...
I'll probably will go with a skip because... that one is... WAIT... I just remembered something...
Hey Sophie, can I use a talking demon dog as pet?
He's kinda like the pet. Sure, he talks and it's annoying. But she takes him to the vet, and goes for walkies, and puts him bibs - he's a newfoundland dog.

Because that changes things.

Which will totally be what I'm re-reading if I get that task! lol. (One of my favourites!)

I have to go south.
Hence, me probably re-reading You Slay Me unless Sophie says Jim is not allowed. I would prefer to read book #2 in the series, since I love the flying panties stuck to Drake's legs scene, but alas, that one doesn't let me go south.

A pet is a domestic or tamed animal kept for companionship or pleasure according to the dictionary. If it is a fantasy animal, I leave it to your conscience whether it will work.

I'm giving it a go. Definitely a good thing that it's short.

Well... he does act as a emotional dog. And protects her. And then chooses to stay with her when she manages to find how to release him. So I'd say Jim applies.
I might go the HELP/SKIP route, because David Copperfield doesn't let me go south. And google got me Jack (Little House in the Prairie series), Jasper (Rebecca), Jip (David Copperfield) and Juno (The Swiss Family Robinson)
From those 4, only Rebecca or The Swiss Family Robinson allows me to go south (unless I'm willing to read 4 Little House books)
Oh Oh... Ty named his kitties Jiminy and Cricket. I can't use Crash & Burn, because again, going south. But I can use Part & Parcel. The kitties go with them on the road trip and everything.
There. Real pets.

Yay! Sometimes it's hard to find them!!

Yes, I noticed! I'm waiting to see how long it takes for me to get a difficult one!!

If you look in the FAQ I have given instructions as to what to do in this situation.

It isn't impossible, but I can't fit in a book that works for it that I want to read now.

I can see how tough your decision is! You had to go through a lot~~~
But I got to say, your current picture of maze is awesome! I can't stop laughing !!! lol
I had to go see.
luckily I didn't have a mouthful of coffee or it would have been all over my computer!
hahahahaha

Right? Even my 9 y.o. niece was giggling at it.
It is going to change soon. After a ton of research because let's face it, read a 50 shades type of book it's so 2010s...
*giggles*
I'm mostly kidding. But I'm a darn mood reader and not finding something I felt like reading, it would cause me to fight it every. single. page.
The problem was the odd number of pages, which is harder to find that it should be.
Luckily, the maze seems to really like my favorite MM series, so, I am happily re-reading the boys. I didn't realize I missed them so much. Of course, first time (fine, timessss) I read Touch & Geaux it destroyed me, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time I don't get as affected.
Good thing I already hit my UNO quote and Towers only starts in 3 weeks because it might take some time to recover.

I took a screenshot for posterity, because it is funny.

I even found a book and read 25%. I just can't convience myself to read anymore of it.
