Hi Oleander, I picked a couple that will help you move along in the series: Never Say Duke (12 Dukes of Christmas, #4) by Erica Ridley & Wild Irish Roots Margaret & Sean (Mystic Cove, #5) by Tricia O'Malley . For the bonus, I picked The Reluctant Viking (Viking I, #1) by Sandra Hill because it looks like a steamy, fun one! :). Hope you enjoy them.

Thanks for the picks, Erica. I'm very curious about the Ethel Rosenberg bio. I'm glad you chose that one in particular.

I finished Brought to Light (Magic Emporium) by Eliot Grayson and give it 4 Stars. Intense MC with a distinct personality.
Lifeline by K.C. Wells I give 3 Stars. It's a pleasant fluffy story.
and The Mason Jar by Angelique Jurd was a DNF but gave 1 Star. It had strange alternating povs from omniscient to third person. Omniscient pov was pretty much long info dumps and I really don't like info dumps.

message 68: by Michelle (new)

Michelle | 1602 comments Completion Post - Book # 1

Vengeance in Death (In Death, #6) by J.D. Robb

Book - Vengeance in Death
Author - J.D. Robb
Date - 3/19/22
Rating - 5 stars
Review - Detective Eve Dallas's latest case hits very close to home. Someone is gunning for her husband and trying to frame Summerset for several murders. This one was a good mystery even though I somewhat guessed who was involved. I didn't know exactly how till the end.

message 69: by Barb (new)

Barb Finished all three books Chelle chose

Murder in the Oval Library (Lincoln's White House #2), by C.M. Gleason, finished 3/4 ★★★★
A good historical mystery, set in Washington City just as the US Civil War starts. Besides being a good mystery, it really makes readers feel what it had to have been like.

Under Lock & Skeleton Key (Secret Staircase #1), by Gigi Pandian, finished 3/12 ★★★.5
I've never read anything by Pandian before, but I liked this one enough to add her other series to Mt. TBR. Not sure I would want to live in the family home, but it sure would be interesting to visit.

The Pirate Hunter: The True Story of Captain Kidd, by Richard Zacks, finished 3/19 ★★★.5
Filled with interesting facts, but the author went into wayyyy too many details, at least for me.

Murder in the Oval Library (Lincoln's White House Mystery, #2) by C.M. Gleason Under Lock & Skeleton Key (Secret Staircase Mystery, #1) by Gigi Pandian The Pirate Hunter The True Story of Captain Kidd by Richard Zacks
