it does indeed. :)

message 59: by Rhonda (new)

Rhonda | 177 comments I finished my first pick, The Bungalow by Sarah Jio . I'm giving it 5 stars even though I'm not always a romance fan. It had a bit of mystery, characters that I actually liked, nice atmosphere, and an ending that came full circle tying everything up.

Oh, so glad you liked it too, Rhonda!

Bonnie | 708 comments Jennifer wrote: "I've heard that about that series. Her Irish Village series is good, though."

I'll see if I can find it. Sometimes the older cozies aren't on kindle.

Carolyn | 28 comments Finished my first Strangers in Death (In Death, #26) by J.D. Robb Strangers in Death, another fun episode in J.D. Robb's Eve Dallas murder mystery series.

I finished Twelve Mile Straight. It was well written, but I can't say I enjoyed it. Very depressing.

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Finished The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton , gave it 3 stars. It was an ok book. It seemed to drag to me and as much as I wanted to get into the book I had to force myself to finish.

Lindsey Gandhi (lindseygandhi) | 1228 comments Finished Dream Big Know What You Want, Why You Want It, and What You’re Going to Do About It by Bob Goff - 4 stars. I love Bob Goff and his writing. It's always inspiring to me and I always learn something new.

@ Beth - Glad you liked it -- that's a great cover!

@Joy: I have to say I got a much clearer idea of what that book was about from your review than I did from the blurb!! Thank you.

Lol, others were commenting on the cover art and that is exactly what got me to read it….. and it was on kindle unlimited 🤩

Sweet and win-win!

message 71: by Rhonda (new)

Rhonda | 177 comments I finished my 2nd book, Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland . At first I thought I would never finish it. I'm so glad I stuck with it as the characters came to life, the painting came to life, the boating came to life, the luncheon came to life! 4 stars (would have been 5 if it had grabbed me from the start).

I read that book years ago, Rhonda, and literally, if I were to write down what I thought of it, it would match what you wrote word for word.

Desley (Cat fosterer) (booktigger) | 800 comments Finished A Yorkshire Vet Through the Seasons by Julian Norton on Fri, an enjoyable 3* read

Lance (sportsbookguy) | 398 comments Robotic Golf How a High-Handicap Golfer Can Become a Single-Digit Golfer by a Guy Who Did It by Larry Carpenter - Finally read my green book and it wasn’t quite what I expected. Didn’t think it would read like yet another golf instruction book, but it did. At least had more practical tips that weekend hackers like me could use instead of the usual golf lessons from a club pro who thinks that after one hour with them, you’ll hit like Tiger Woods.

Martha (marthas48) | 767 comments I read one of my choices Snow White Blood Red ( A Grimm Diaries Prequel #1 ) by Cameron Jace 3 stars. It's a novella which I didn't realize. Very quick read and interesting. Not sure if I'll continue with the series.

It is interesting! Other editions might have the appropriate colors. Weird though.
