Feel better Jackie!

I hope you feel better soon!
Friday: 323 pages.
Feeling much better, thanks everyone!
Welcome back to the Amazing Around the Year Around the World Baking Biking Race! I'm your host, Betty Spaghetti! The producers felt that we weren't getting enough ratings. Um, I mean, uhhh, the contestants weren't being challenged to their full potential. So we decided to throw them a real curve ball and deprive them of any and all actual baking supplies, ingredients, or equipment, and send them on a three day trip with only their wits to guide them! It's SURVIVAL WEEK!! *cue applause*
They needed to go from Paramaribo, Suriname to Medellin Colombia in the first leg, during which they would be responsible for handmaking their own chocolate from cocoa pods. This is definitely an achievable activity in one day, don't look it up. For the second leg they biked up to Cancun and then over to Mexico City all while grinding their own flour and creating graham crackers. Finally, they travelled up to San Antonio and then across the lower United States and down through the swamps and all the way down to Miami! While making their own marshmallows from scratch! Did you know that while modern marshmallows are made from water, sugar, and gelatin, historically the confection was made from the roots of the marsh mallow plant? Now you know!
If you haven't guessed yet, the sweet treat at the gooey center of this week's challenge is the S'more! The bakers biked across the finish line 13909 miles and 3 days later and plopped themselves in front of our definitely-perfectly-legal beach bonfires and toasted their s'mores to perfection! The Handshake of Hunger went to Kendra from Connecticut who added a secret ingredient to theirs: cinnamon! Mmm-mmmm!
It's all coming together for an amazing finale! Hold on to your helmets folks because we'll see you next time!
