I’m excited for the readathon :)
My family andI are devoted watchers of the Danish version of the show.
I have some books to read that I think will fit those prompts.

The Scorpion Rules by Erin Bow (I placed this under a book with red on the cover)
Real Friends by Shannon Hale (I placed this under a short book Less than 250 pages)

I'm also listening to You Will Get Through This Night, with about an hour remaining. I'll definitely be finishing this before I go to bed tonight, so at least that one can count! I'm thinking it could work for yellow cover, possibly.
I should probably specify, I was using this cover art:

Still add the pages that you did read even if you can't count the book. Every page counts!

Saturday I read 40 pages and 6h 44m
I read Luster by Raven Leilani "cover to cover" (audiobook) It has red on the cover and is a new to ME author.

Saturday I read 40 pages and 6h 44m
I read [book:..."
Jessica, I would put it under New to you author so we can make progress on the Cannoli's.

OK, will do. Thanks.

Hell of a Book 24 pages
To Kill a Mockingbird 163 pages
Deacon King Kong 24 minutes
Magic Lessons 10 pages
Daily total:
197 pages
24minutes
I woulda read more but I spent half the day weed wacking my yard. I wanted to finish To Kill a Mockingbird today.

I looked at the spread sheet and figured a place for me to start might be Strange Hotel - it is set in France
and then perhaps The Warden - which is both a Madeleine authored book and a book with both black and white on the cover and a short book :-)

I just finished Eragon. Is it worth finishing the series?

I think so. That being said, it depends on if you liked the first book. If you didn't enjoy the first book I wouldn't move on to the rest of the series. Eldest is about the same quality as Eragon. Brisingr is very long and slow. I haven't finished Inheritance yet, but so far it is more along the lines of the first two books (not the third.)

It is a new-to-me author, book with a circle on the cover (my copy has the tree with the hole that Boo hides things in), and used for ATY challenge.
I think I'll put it under book used for ATY.
One more and we'll have our first Mini Roll

Hell of a Book 53 pages
To Kill a Mockingbird 102 pages (mentioned above)
Deacon King Kong 3 hours
Magic Lessons 0 pages
Daily total:
155 pages

I finished Little House on the Prairie and added to the Spreadsheet. We have one mini roll completed so I put it under the next one closest to being done.

Goodnight!

Oh, I didn't realize we were supposed to be doing that. I'm very bad with spreadsheets, so I just assumed it was programmed to do that itself somehow.

I finished Kitchen Confidential: we finished our first Cannoli!

I finished Kitchen Confidential: we finished our first Cannoli!"
Whoo Hoo! Good job team! Keep it up!

I'm totally confused by the spreadsheet to be honest. I've been putting everything under Plans for now. Most of the books I've read can work for multiple options, but those options also have a bunch of other books, so I don't really get how to assign them to specific tasks.

I had a super slow day. I got sucked into Dexter New Blood for like 5 hours then wasn't in much of a reading mood.
Hell of a Book 8 pages
Deacon King Kong 5 hours
Magic Lessons 20 pages
Daily total:
28 pages
5 Hours

I think the best thing could be to first look and see if a book you finish fits first into a spot that is not taken. But, then if it is you can always put it in to start a new recipe.
For example:
Since all the things you have on the plans for the books you finished are already taken by other books I'd recommend the following...
Jar of Hearts could go on a new-to-you author.
The Love Hypothesis could go for a book with a sour character.
You will get through this night could go as a book with a yellow cover.
If you did it this way we'd have half a new Cannoli.
This is just one example of course...you can do as you please.

If there is more than one option for your book, pick the one you feel best helps the team reach our goals. Also, if you want help deciding where to put your books we can all help out! Just put it on here and I am sure at least one of us will know the best place to put your book. Also, If all the prompts your book fits have already been filled, start a new "recipe". We want to make as many as we can.
My understanding of how to fill the Spreadsheet:
Sprinkles Tracking:
Enter in the daily number of pages or hours read in the column under your name.
Recipe tabs (Madeleines, Focaccias, Mini Rolls, Cannolis):
When you finish a book assign it to a prompt to provide an "ingredient" for a recipe. To assign your book, go to the official tab that contains the desired prompt, then enter the book title and author in the row with the prompt it fits. (The ATY moderators do all the color changes in these tabs, all we have to do is add our books)
Plans Tab:
You don't have to put your books in the planning tab, but if you do it is a quick way for everyone in the group to see what prompts people are planning to fill and what still needs to be filled in order to finish a "recipe".
If you choose to use the planning tab, add your book at the top of the column, use the drop down menu to mark its status (TBR/In Progress/Completed) and then put an x next to each prompt that the book can possibly fit (this is what Column C is counting). When you finished a book, mark it as complete and then change the row of the prompt you used to fill to blue (or if we are creating a second item in a group some other color.) Most of us have been marking the "x" green as well just to make it even more clear what book was being used."
Note: the colors in the plan tab are not super important, it is just a tool to help others in the group more easily follow what is going on over the week. It doesn't affect our results. So don't worry to if you haven't been doing this.
Hopefully this helps

Thanks for all the suggestions above about how to manage the spreadsheet. I think part of the problem is that I only really check just before bed since that's when I'm done reading for the night, so i don't really leave myself enough time to really play around with it. I've input my books so far where I think they should go, but feel free to move as needed.

It's time to fill your bakery case with goodies. You will read books to bake sweets and pastries! Each pastry takes a different number of books, depending on complexity.
You can bake your pastries in any order that you'd like, and you can bake multiple pastries at once (infinite oven space!). Don't forget about your sprinkles! You get some for every 1000 pages read (or 10 hours of audio listed to).
You'll want to create the best bakery case that you can bake, so make sure you have at least one of every type of goodie... they are all important to your score! You can have multiples of the same types of pastries as well.
