we knew Atlas as a teenager, as they met occasionally as adults . We did not get to see him as much as Ryle ...so Team Lily
I commented team Atlas but I saw someone said team Lily bc we didn’t get to know Atlas as much as we knew Ryle and that made me rethink which is in fact, true. They might be walking red flags, so team Lily!
I am on Atlas team... witch for me is not a debate. But I’ve seen others saying how they feel bad for Ryle. Ngl i do too. But his past is not an excuse to treat Lily how he did. And i think it was the best decision to leave him for her and the child.

Okay! So. I was on Team Ryle when I started reading "It Ends With Us". As I think about, I would not pick either of them. However, I could see Ryle change later in the sequel if Colleen decides to do so lol! I feel like he can change by getting the help he needs and coming to the terms of what happened to his older brother.
okay after some thinking.. i’m back. i am no longer team ryle (round of applause for me) but i’m not team atlas either. i don’t hate him or anything, i just didn’t get much from him for me to love him yk? saw some other people say team lily so, team lily!!!! always hv been, she’s my girl fr. but yeah hopefully in the next book i’ll fall in love w atlas cause he’s already a cutie to me 😏

I feel like I have to defend my comment lmao! But I’m not team Ryle because he had the choice to improve himself after knowing he has anger issues. But I’m on team atlas (I respect everyone’s decision on him) but I love him because it’s different from what I read for male love interests.

personally, as much as i love atlas there shouldn’t be no teams. obviously ryle is the bad guy (there should be NO debate on that) and obviously atlas is the guy you should root for, but i’m team lily. it’s time people realize it’s end with us has romance yes, but that’s more of a subplot if anything. this is about lily, and her trauma and how she ends the cycle of abuse so i’m team lily always.

To answer your question, Team Atlas. But in general, I think there shouldn't be a Team Ryle of a Team Atlas- only Team Lily Ryle is an insecure,abusive and manipulative towards Lily.I cannot fathom how anyone could ship a character with their abuser. She was a child of abuse and eventually became a victim - Lily deserved better. There is no forgiving Ryle for what he did. She has gone through so much and needs to time to heal, which goes to my next point that I don't think she should have gone back to Atlas so quickly. Getting into another relationship with a man you don't know very well and coming from an experiencing toxic lover, she needs to heal and focus on herself and her daughter. So rather than being Team Ryle (we should not be giving him an attention to the abuser whatsoever) or Team Atlas, I think we should be Team Lily. Our focus should be on her and not on the other two characters.This is her story.
I didn't mean for this to be so long, but I disappointed how the novel is being portrayed as a romance novel. Yes, I agree there is a theme of romance, but that is not the man thing. It portrays how abusive relationships isn't a "one time thing" where if you're hit you can easily leave. no, so many men and women struggle to get out of them and this novel is bringing light to that.
unpopular but Ryle- I acknowledge all his faults however I do feel like he never meant to harm lily, like he wasn't malicious about it he was just messed up a bit. also not enough was written about present day atlas for me to root for him
Team Atlas of course! But I do wish Ryle didn’t abuse Lilly she deserves the world and so much more! He really should’ve never abused her Violence is never the answer he really didn’t learn on the first mistake that occurred. Atlas really was there for her to see and feel for her and with her his intentions became really what he wanted from the beginning but obviously the timing wasn’t right, but Atlas was a lost love but once he came in the plot his character is just everything you could ask for (obviously) his character really soothed out my heart for Lilly no doubt.Lilly is such a strong women We Stan her! ❤️🥺
