Lovey Braiding Sweetgrass - Robin Wall Kimmerer - 5 Stars

I could not put this one down! The author is indigenous so I recognize her truth as my own which lead to a lot of laughter, and tears.

Si (books & coffee) | 25 comments I just finished reading The Gilded Ones for this square.

This book is the start to what could be a brilliant trilogy. I really enjoyed the story line and am interested in how it will pan out.

I gave this book 4*

The author is Japanese.

The time line and story were both a bit confusing at first, but it cleared itself up pretty quickly. Great short read.
