As agreed, It's time to begin nominating your choice of a series other than mystery that you'd like considered for 2022 and possibly into 2023. The contemporary romance series we’re currently reading, Rock Chick, will be changed to a once every other month schedule until completed . Our other series, Lucy Kincaid/Max Revere, will continue. We will begin the series with the most votes in April.

There are only a few rules:

1. You're limited to nominating a maximum of three series.
2. Each nominated series must have at least three books.
3. The books in the series must be available for purchase.
4. Your nomination must include the series name and author (check on Goodreads for the proper series name).

Nominations will be open until February 23. At that time, we will set up a poll for everyone to vote for their choice. The top three will move to the final round if one is necessary.

Here’s the link to the list of nominations in this category from 2018 - 2021:

I nominate Orphan X by Gregg Andrew Hurwitz. There are 7 full length books in the series and 3 novellas.

So, I am unfortunately calling it quits on Rock Chick. I tried reading book 4, and once again, the heroine's TSTL moments are too awful for words. I cannot remember the heroines in KA's other series being so inane as in this one.

I nominate:

1. Highland Brides by Lynsay Sands - 10 primary works, Historical romance

2. Amory Ames by Ashley Weaver - 9 primary works, Historical mystery.

I also nominate Catalina Cove by Brenda Jackson. It has 5 full length books and one novella in the series. It’s also being developed into a TV series soon.

Thanks for that input. I’ll give it a shot this month and see.

Lynn (ftbooklover) There are many series that I want to read, but I'm overwhelmed with the choices, and I know there are many that have already been suggested. I'll think about some possible options.

I was going to nominate this series. I read book one last year for my "X" book. It is very good.

D. D. Warren is a spin-off of the Quincy/Rainie series. Also, there is another spin-off from D.D. Warren - the Tessa Leoni series.

It might be better to read them all.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 12913 comments Mod
I read DD Warren without reading Quincy/Raine and ran into a little trouble with a couple of storylines. I did read Tessa Leone along with it and highly agree.

If no one objects, I’ll combine all three like we did with Lucy Kincaid.

Thanks for the input, Lauren.

Sure thing!
There is a lot of overlap of characters and backstories in these three series.

I remember when the crossover happened and I just had to deal with being lost. If we choose the series, it will be a revelation as there was nothing to spoil😏
