I've finished A Little Princess and will start Nefertiti's Heart after a quick tuna melt and a glass of Malbec for dinner.I'll be back around 10 o'clock.
Enjoy your evening/morning.
Oh, I remember that movie, Almeta. I loved it. There were a couple of remakes made as well. How are you liking the book? I'm working my way through Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead and enjoying it. The style reminds me a bit of the Miss Fortune series.
Do we have a reporting thread? I can't find it, if we do. I just finished March Violets for the Berlin task.
Do I need to find a zoo book? Just need to know what we need me to do next. I notice some people did have zoo books in the list, but and I would like to do what will be most helpful for team.

Created one here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I've finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for Chicago 10 and 30% through Rescue at Lake Wild.@Beth if you can find zoo book and want to read it, please do. Because I won't be able to read it soon

Got one! I will start it now!
Beth wrote: "Do I need to find a zoo book? Just need to know what we need me to do next. I notice some people did have zoo books in the list, but and I would like to do what will be most helpful for team."Aya has said that having a volunteer for the "zoo" task would be a help to her.
If you are able to do that, it would be wonderful.
Thanks for asking Beth.
Kristie has set up a reporting threaf for us to use once we have completed a task at
Team One Books Ran Ragged
@Beth and Aya
This thread wasn't available when you reported your books. Will you go to that thread and report them there as well, please? I have updated the spreadsheet.
Hi everyone! Been plugging through some things and my first book today Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. should be a quick read, so hopefully will get through it before the end of the day.
Finished my Lake book and started on Dear John.I'm planning on reading
which fitBoston 1, set on island
8, boat on cover
9, dog on cover if anyone needs a back up.
Or shall I do other task?
Good Morning.Starting Theft: A Love Story, another fairly short read.
It is for BERLIN #4 Read a book with art as a significant theme.
Rusalka wrote: "Hi everyone! Been plugging through some things and my first book today Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. should be a quick read, so hopefully will get through it before the end ..."Thanks Rus, Your book is on the spreadsheet now.
Ayacchi wrote: "Finished my Lake book and started on Dear John.I'm planning on reading Five on a Treasure Island which fit

You are "running" along nicely!
F.Y.I. These tasks are for BERLIN not Boston
Reading Five on a Treasure Island. will give us 10 additional points and good back up if needed.
Here are the open tasks for Boston:
🌎Boston ~ set in city
1️⃣sandy beach on cover (Aya may take)
3️⃣set in a college or university
4️⃣religious or cult theme
6️⃣that involves a theft
Kristie wrote: "......I'm working my way through Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead and enjoying it. The style reminds me a bit of the Miss Fortune series] ..."Oh that should make it easy to read!
Love those Sinful Ladies.
Ayacchi wrote: "Why do I keep messing with the task?? lol. Okay, I'll read it then."Honestly, I am doing the exact same thing with BOSTON and BERLIN. (I think because I had expected to be working on Boston first.)
I've changed my annual site so I won't be able to read it. But if you need Christmas time, I can readThe Naughty, The Nice and The Nanny
Finding Father Christmas
or A Boy Called Christmas
But that means I won't be reading Five on a Treasure Island
I found The Haunted Bridge and The Mystery of the Spiral Bridge, but I can'r promise until I finish one of my books.
I got caught up with a friend I haven't been able to contact for 12+ months due to covid, so my evening was derailed. Will catch up tomorrow on my read. I love I could spend the evening with him finally, but why do these things happen on toppler weeks??Seriously though, bigger than a toppler. Still...
Yes, Ameta! It is a fun, easy read. :) I plan to finish it today. I'm also going to start Sitting Murder.
I'm a little confused as to where we're at with the recent changes. Almeta, could you give us a list of tasks that still need to filled in order of importance? It would help anyone that still wants to add a book. It looks like some tasks that were previously filled just opened and need to be filled sooner now, I'm not sure if that's right. An 'as of now' list would be great.
About to go into a meeting but right after it, I will finish zoo book in 15 minutes. I need to know what to do next. And we can up my total reads to 4-5, since that seems a more likely total for the week. Back in a couple hours. I will go back to reporting thread then.
Kristie wrote: "I'm a little confused as to where we're at with the recent changes. Almeta, could you give us a list of tasks that still need to filled in order of importance? It would help anyone that still wants..."We have commitments to all Chicago tasks.
We have commitments to all Berlin tasks but 🔟a tattoo on cover (although several people have suggested there may be a possibility.)
We have commitments for at least one task for the remaining cities.
These are all marked on the spreadsheet in red ink with a yellow background. Those that have been completed are marked in yellow ink and a red background.
Any book that a teammate speculated about wanting to read is still showing on the spreadsheet, but has not been committed for the task. If that book is struck through, then it was used for a different commitment (but may be switched).
Because we have these commitments, I am encouraging teammates to take tasks in Boston. There could be a slight chance of completing it.
Here are the open tasks for Boston:
🌎Boston ~ set in city
1️⃣sandy beach on cover (Aya may take)
3️⃣set in a college or university
4️⃣religious or cult theme
6️⃣that involves a theft
Rusalka wrote: "I got caught up with a friend I haven't been able to contact for 12+ months due to covid, so my evening was derailed. Will catch up tomorrow on my read. I love I could spend the evening with him fi..."Friendship is an absolute priority!
Finished Theft: A Love Story ~ giving it 5 stars!Starting The Midnight Line .
See you this afternoon.
@AyaPlease see if you can find a book from these tasks:

Ayacchi wrote: "I found The Haunted Bridge and The Mystery of the Spiral Bridge, but I can'r promise until I finish one of my books."
Your task for "Bridge" would be good.
Beth wrote: "I can take the Christmas one with A Christmas Homecoming"I'm adding your book to the spreadsheet. Thank you.
Okay, imma read the bridge book now and I've found some possible read for the sandy beachWar and Millie McGonigle
The Summer We Found the Baby
Seaglass Summer
Center of Gravity
I'm not as far as I'd like to be in my reads but I should be fine for my 3 and no others. Less than 2 hours left of Dark Matter but I'm going to start A Burial at Sea and spend the rest of the evening with it.
Ayacchi wrote: "Okay, imma read the bridge book now and I've found some possible read for the sandy beachWar and Millie McGonigle War and Millie McGonigle

I'm going to tentatively put you down for "sandy beach."
75% through my first book, Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead, for female MC & author (Chicago) and starting my second book, Sitting Murder, for fire on cover (Chicago). I'm pretty well on schedule for my three.
Ayacchi wrote: "Okay. I'm 30% of my Bridge book and may start Sandy beach tonight"That's terrific!!!
Vicki wrote: ".....Less than 2 hours left of Dark Matter but I'm going to start A Burial at Sea and spend the rest of the evening with it. ..."I hope that you are enjoying Dark Matter.. I really liked it when I read it.
Thanks for checking in.
Kristie wrote: "75% through my first book, Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead, for female MC & author (Chicago) and starting my second book, Sitting Murder, for fire on cover (Chicago)...."I am going to put Finlay Donovan Is Killing It and Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead on my TBR. I thought I'd get through this Toppler without adding anything!
Sounds as though you are doing fine. Thank you for touching base.
I finished The Midnight Line last evening and had time for a short book A Treacherous Tart London's 1️⃣Read a book with the time of day in the title and
Tokyo's 8️⃣Read a book with a MC who is a chef or baker or works in food services, are completed.
Starting Must Love Otters this morning after breakfast.
@Team One Running MatesI think we may be able to actually finish a third city!
If you are able to read another book, see if you can find one for these tasks:
🌎Boston ~ set in city
3️⃣set in a college or university
Dear John is a longer read than the others so it'll take time. But I'll make sure I'll finish it on time
Ayacchi wrote: "Dear John is a longer read than the others so it'll take time. But I'll make sure I'll finish it on time"Okay. Thought maybe you forgot to report it.☺
