I read this book around 2012 to 2015. It was about this girl who finds an old man living near her house. Aside from the girl, there’s, one character who represents summer and another character who represents winter, and they hunt each other throughout the year until one dies and returns next year. I think it had a green cover, and I feel like Winter and Summer were The Holly King and The Oak King. She befriends Summer before he dies, but he comes back the next year younger and there’s a scene where he’s hunting Winter on horseback with hounds.
