Review:
Another book that I've put off for too long! I should have known as I enjoyed Abbi Glines other books.
I listened and read this one as I have both ebook and audio versions. The ebook was much better because I didn't have to listen to the friend Miranda's annoying voice. Anyhow , on with the story.
This was a story about a girl who could see souls, nothing new yet in this story she ends up seeing a different kind of "soul", this one is a hottie who talks to her!
I loved this one because it was a sweet romance, not any nasty sex in this one. Secondly even though the MC's were teenagers, they weren't annoying and whiny like in so many other YA books.
A great read and I will (eventually) move along in this series as it was left open for some new excitement!

I love that series! I had From Dead to Worse as a backup before I found the book I read.

It took me a LONG time to get into fantasy and paranormal, but I began with Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I have never looked back! I love Sookie and the series but my favorite reads are still realistic and emotional ones.

Review:
This series is just too fun! I love it, but I have yet to give any of the three books I've read 5 stars. Club Dead is probably my favorite book so far and I love me some gorgeous, sexy werewolf named Alcide! But then there's also Eric who is trying to help Sookie find Bill who has gone missing. I am definitely not a fan of Bill, if I ever was, because he's a lying cheater and what woman loves a "man" like that! Sookie has three men fighting over her though and that must be good for the ego. lol I have to root for one of them, right? So I am currently rooting for Alcide.
I have to say that if you decide to read this series, just know that it is not an "emotional" read at all. At least not for me and I love emotional reads; however, if you can just let your mind join the world of fantasy, werewolves and vampires, and read simply for the pleasure of letting your mind join a world on unreality, the series just might be one to start...especially if you love laughing a lot!

Great! I've got 2 patients , so that should work for me to request stamps when you post :)

Review: Going in to the last 10% of the book, I thought I was going to rate it 3 stars. Things are just happening way too fast for Nix, with her history. But I think the authors are trying to establish a fated mates situation, where her reaction to her guys is different from her reaction to others, because she still avoids touch with anyone else. The last 10% of the book really ramped up the tension from outside forces, and that bumped it up a star for me.
