From what I remember, I heard about it from a YouTube recommendation fairly recently, so it couldn’t have been older than 2020. One of the main characters was a librarian and he believed in this lost city that everyone had forgotten the name of since he was a kid. Then at some point one of the beings from the city actually came to him for help. Think they said it had some similarities to Atlantis
