I believe I read this book around 2016?


- Book didn't seem that old probably published in the 2000s
- Physical book
- Time period was modern (the 2000s/2010s)
- Set in England (I think, or America but I remember a line about the London eye)
- The main character is a teenage boy (around 16 years old)
- He has an interesting thought process
- He's strange in the BBC's Sherlock Holmes kinda sense
- Either his cousin went missing or he works with his cousin to find the missing person (leaning more toward the cousin or relative was missing)
- He's stuck on this theory that the person spontaneously combusted.
- The person was on like a cable cart thingy and disappeared by changing their outfit and putting on a wig
- He finds the missing person in an abandoned building that homeless people use that was supposed to be knocked down.
