Kaitlyn (originalcatland) | 8 comments Anachronistic search and find illustrated book: The premise was similar to a where’s waldo. It was really great illustrations of different time periods, and you had to find all the things that didn’t fit into that time period. I remember there was one spread when they were in Egypt and there was a soda can. There was another in an airport, and there was a page at the end that had all the items that were out of place so you could see what you were supposed to find. I remember a scene from the prehistoric times, and one in Italy. I also remember a saucer (ufo) in the background of one of the page or someone using a phone when they weren't invented yet. I remember they also had a list in the back of the book that told you when the things out of place were invented.

Kaitlyn (originalcatland) | 8 comments I also remember you had to find the Window or portal into the next time period too before you could turn the page

Kaitlyn (originalcatland) | 8 comments No those look too childish. They emerge definitely at a higher level than that

Kaitlyn (originalcatland) | 8 comments That looks similar. But this one had one page in an airport. And I think one on a vintage television stage. They weren’t all about ancient historical cultures

Daisy (daisyporter) | 1199 comments I would never have guessed that there were so many different books like this!

Kaitlyn, how about More Errata: Another Book of Historical Errors by the same author? Seems to have more modern pictures in it, and focuses on inventions.

Kaitlyn (originalcatland) | 8 comments Maybe! It’s so hard cause I can’t find any pics of the inside of it. I just need to see if they have it at a local library or something so I can look through it

Kaitlyn, your topic header needs to be embellished - it's very vague. It could refer to many different topics.

Alan (alanjc) | 476 comments The Usborne Detective's Handbook by Colin King has some pages like this (among other things), but may be too childish for what you are looking for.

I can remember scenes much like you describe, but with anachronisms like skateboards, paper planes, etc., in a medieval street.
