I read this book years ago and it scared me so I threw somewhere in our garage. Looking for it now but can’t remember the title or author or most of the plot. All I remember is that it was about some kids/teens you at something point went into another dimension and find a decapitated cow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

What year did you read it, approximately?
I read it around 2010-12, and I don’t remember much about the cover. I know it’s not a very long book, I distinctly remember it being 71 pages because I read it in less than an hour and remember being very proud I read and understood it, being that I was only like 8-10 years old.
Did the main character(s) live on a farm? Is that where the cows came from?
