The wrapped up idea now sound fun to me. I went with just posting the titles, but if we do this again I think I will go with that option!

Officially DNF week 1!! I'm just not excited to read it so I'm just setting it aside.
I am, however, enjoying week 2 read, yay!

My books! I started out wrapping them in (new) rubbish sacks, then remembered I have enough Christmas paper to last ten years or more, so I switched to that :)

My second book is Mrs Bridge by Evan S Connell. Another short one. This was a Christmas gift.
WELL!!! 500 pager for week 1. Another 500 pager for week 2. And now: a Whooping 752 pager! Happy Valentine's!! ha ha ha
I do have average size books in there!! and even an extra thin one... but no, Universe says Tien must read Big Books

Oh, your book does sound like a fun one, LynnB! Enjoy!
I do think I'm going to like my book very much but just the thought o 752 pages hey! Sent me on a bit of a spin ha ha ha. I did choose to put them in the selection so only can blame myself lol

I might miss out on this week. I just put a hold on The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave at the library, but all copies are checked out or being transferred to another library. Might take a bit of time to get my hands on this one.

I was so proud of how I was trucking along the first two weeks, but I can't get into my week three book at all. DNF/to the digital trash bin. Oh, well! Gives me time to whittle down my currently reading list before the next draw.

good reading, LynnB! I'm just past halfway of my 752 pager ;)
eek, sorry you didn't get your book at all, Bea! Let's hope this week's draw is better for you.

My number 7 is My Sister, the Serial Killer. This is a book that I have been avoiding. (Neither the cover nor the title engage me.) I have requested it from the library. In the meantime, last week's selection has arrived.

Interestingly enough my #7 is by the same author as last week. The universe is telling me something :)
Oh, yay! Last night I bought the last two books on my list that I didn't own and it was hard not to start my #7- Virgin: The Untouched History - immediately.

@LynnB: aww, no :(
@Lagullande: yipee!!! hope it's a good one!
@Bea: um, it's a pretty short book... it was just meh for me really
For me, I'm trying very hard to start the book on the day and to finish in a week or so because if I leave it, I know I probably would just leave it for a very long time lol I'm a master of procrastination!

Another one from my local library! This one should be available by tomorrow and is relatively short! I am so very excited about being able to keep up with this game. Last time we did a similar game, I was reading for it many months after it ended.

I got another 100ish pages left of my book #7 & will start #1 after that - it's shorter yet again (YAY!!) so shouldn't take me as long :)
My book is now available. I will pick it up today! Love this challenge as I am keeping up. Now if I could do as good with others.

lol I have to say that I'm not particularly looking forward to mine either... I don't think Michael Chabon & I get along but Telegraph Avenue fits prompt 5 (music)

At least you are getting read of the DNFs from the TBR quickly :)

I started so well with this challenge, but now I'm waaaayyy behind.
I think the only reason that I'm keeping up is that I DNF'd 2 out of 6.
I hope this one will be a good read though... I don't like trying to decide if I should DNF or not ha ha ha... I still feel bad for the book!

I will not unwrap the second book until I've finished the first, so I don't know what it is yet! The mystery is an extra motivation!
