YA book about kid with severe anger and violent habits. Read around 2012.

I can't remember the name of a book I read around 10 years ago. A kid, maybe 18, gets put in some kind of prison and has to deal with his anger. I've Googled it for an hour before and none of the popular books are the correct ones. I remember the kid argued with a White Supremecist and convinced him to change his gangs name from something involving H*tler to something like Rommels Raiders. Off the wall book, but it brought me comfort when dealing with my own as a teen.
