Thanks - I'll use the second one. That's what I get for trying to decide at midnight :)

Only one team member needs to earn it - so you go ahead and claim it :) I might start a series that I will hopefully finish to be able to claim that bonus.

No worries - like I said I think I'm going to change mine and start a new series that I can finish within this challenge.

Review: I had high expectations because of the cute cover, but The Secret of Seaside was honestly pretty trashy. First of all, the murder was discovered within the first 20 pages or so, but nobody actually started investigating until halfway through the book. It was just kind of, "oh there was a murder of a guy no one liked, what do we do? Let's do nothing." The characters were cardboard cutouts and inaccurate to real life people. I will not be continuing this series.

Review: This was a fun beginning to a series. I enjoyed the sparring between Isadora, a spirited misfit spinster, and roguish ship captain Ryan. The romance developed slowly, and was playful and romantic. I’ll definitely continue with this series.

Review: I really enjoy characters who aren't the "norm" for a romance novel and this one definitely fit. One of my favorite TV shows was Dexter and in this series I get 7 of them! So I turned off the part of my brain that scoffs when things are unbelievable and just enjoyed it for what it was - pure entertainment with interesting characters and a story I found intriguing. Definitely looking forward to the rest of the series!

This was a short and cozy read. I like Harry and Clay together even if it drags for a bit to get there. The pack interaction was a real highlight moment in the book.

I liked this book because it was not only fun and quirky, but engaging as well. I thought that the setting of this book was a refreshing change. It was almost entirely set in an inn. Which is a nice change from yohr usual ballroom setting. The hero and heroine are both really likeable and there is also some humor mixed in as well.

Review: This is a good cozy mystery series. I like the Alaskan setting. And Charlie and her cat, Benny, are cute together. The whole gang helped to solve the mystery of how and why a young man was poisoned. This was a very light, but an entertaining read.

Review: I admit I'm loving this series. For a bunch of serial killers it isn't super dark but I like that. The whole "Dexter" vibe is awesome. I liked this one even more than the first one and I enjoyed August and Lucas. A psychopath and a psychic - honestly can't get much better than that!

This all started because of a link to a random book giveaway post. Book one told me what kind of book I was reading but I played myself trying to take this book too seriously. I couldn't stop reading even though I lowkey wanted to stop at times. I just had to see where the author wanted to go with this series. This book was slightly over the top and I hope to never read it again. With all that being said let me go check out the next book.

ETA: I'll be reading

Review: I remember liking the first book a lot more than I did with this second installment. In contrast, Fable seems to have too much going on at once (and for this reason I'm very grateful that a lot of parts were a recap of the first book). Although I feel somewhat lukewarm about this one, I still plan to continue with book 3 when it next comes up for a challenge I could need.

Review: This book reminded me some of Big Little Lies. If BLL was about mixed race (half Nigerian) women living in London. Things get more interesting when a fourth woman, Isobel, joins the group. The author does explore race and racism and how the women dealt with being mixed race differently. I enjoyed this dishy, soapy read.

Review: So I think this is my favorite so far just because I loved Atticus so much. I really loved that Jericho saw Atticus for who he was, something his family doesn't seem to. He was able to give him what he needs and I liked the submissive side of Atticus. I enjoyed the banter between the two of them and this was the best meeting between love interests I have read. Loved it!

My thoughts on this book are still jumbled right now. But my initial thoughts are that I like this book. It did lose me for a bit till about 50%. As always I love the crew interaction. I do also like this book a bit more than the previous book. I just don't think it will stick with me.

Review: My favorite cozy mysteries are very character-driven, and not all about the romance, with maybe a hint of romance instead of full on (at least in the first book). The St. Valentine's Day Cookie Massacre was all this and more in the way we get to know Kat, her motives, and the people and places she calls home. this was full of unpredictable but logical twists and turns right until the very end, and it's definitely not one where I could have put the pieces together. Planning to buy the second one at some point.

I'm going to claim reading the whole series from beginning to end since it only has one more book out (and qualifies since it only needs 4 books). I can't double use those books for both those bonus points. But it looks like if you read one more in the series you will be able to count that bonus point.

I don’t think your first book will fit the alternate option? We are to exclude ‘The’. Your second book would work.
