YA Fantasy Short Stories. Includes a woman who transforms into a cat and gets stuck. Read mid-late 1990s.

I read a book of short fantasy stories I want to say mid- to late-90s. It seemed like it may have been written in the 80s or early 90s. Definitely had the feel of something you'd get from one of those pick 4 for a dollar on your first order mail order book clubs.

Anyway.

One story I vaguely remember was about a woman who transforms into a cat and gets stuck. I think she maybe found or stole a ring and turned into a cat when she put it on. She wanders through the town trying to accept her new life. It is NOT the midnight library series

The above is literally the only story from the book I remember.

I vaguely recall fantasy/magic being a common theme but cannot tell you if it was by one or multiple authors. I want to say between 5 and 10 stories were included.

The book is likely geared toward teens/young adults.
