I read this book maybe 2 years ago? I had it signed so I think it newly came out then, by a relatively small author.
I think the whole point of the plot was that this bully actually has a bad home life, and is sort of like a half giant, and everyone is scared of him but he’s just misunderstood.
A boy gets close to him and goes into his basement and there’s like a portal to his mother who’s a giant or something??
The cover of the book was like a sunrise with two boys sat on a swing, and i think the title and author were in the a swirly green font?
This book felt like a fever dream but I have no clue about what the title or author is

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated :)

(Also I’m British so it might be a local book I don’t know)
