You have to be online (not on the app) to link the book. When you are typing in the comment box, there is a link just above it that says "add book/author." When you click on that you can search for your book and click add. The default setting is the title link, but if you want the cover instead you just click on that option below the search. There is an author tab as well and yo can choose the name link or photo.

NORTH AMERICA Mexico:
Like Water for Chocolate by Mexican author Laura Esquivel is an award-winning story with vivid descriptions, mouth-watering recipes, romance, drama and magical realism. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review
Just now starting A Libertarian Walks Into a Bear, by Matthew Hongoltz-Hetling. I can't remember why exactly I added it to my to-read list, but it was probably mentioned in a podcast or another book I read. The brief summary of the episode narrated in my book was enough to make me laugh AND decide to buy the book. Here goes...
Also, just finished Audre Lorde's Sister Outsider, a collection of powerful essays in Lorde's inimitable voice—strong, vulnerable, often angry, wise, hopeful. Highly recommended!
Finished
A Very Merry Bromance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Enjoyable, heartwarming and charming Christmas romance.
The Measure⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very interesting and all the stories flowed well.
I just finished
, Amita Parikh and really loved it. 4.5 Stars. Here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... Loved the theme, characters, and incredible story. I am Reading and listening 🎧 to

, Sulari Gentill. Have been meaning to Read this book for a long time and will definitely try to finish this week.
Just finished A Libertarian Walks into a Bear. I wish it had been written by a political scientist or even a national political journalist instead of a local journalist who thinks he's much funnier and more clever than he is and who apparently thinks NOT taking the topic of his book too seriously is a good thing, which is super-frustrating to me. I don't recommend it, really. My random number generator and numbered to-read list tells me that I'll be reading Whole Brain Living next (by Jill Bolte Taylor).
Oh, ouch, Kevin! lol I've had a similar experience before. Sometimes humor doesn't translate well to writing and if the topic doesn't call for it that makes it even worse. Hope your next read it better.
I was able to use December to finish most of the books that I've picked up throughout the year and never finished. I finished 8 books that were in various stages of completion. The Omen Machine, started in October. I'm getting closer to being done with this series, but the end is still so far away. The Final Girl Support Group, started in July. Once I got near the end, I couldn't put it down. So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish, started in October. My least favorite of the series so far. Nothing really happened. A Column of Fire, started in May. Done with this series now. Definitely recommend. The Book Thief, started in August. I sobbed like a baby at the end. Ordinary Monsters, started in November. X-Men meets Harry Potter in the 1800s. A Lesson in Vengeance, started in October. Do not recommend. All the main characters are rich, spoiled teenage girls. A Spindle Splintered, started this month. I love a good fairytale retelling. Can't wait to read the next one. And that's a wrap for 2022.
I just finished Devil's Way
. It was a really great addition to the series.

I am currently reading One Last Child
and plan to finish before the end of the year. So far it is really good. I can't wait to find out how it ends. It's one where you feel like it's about to wrap up, but you're really only at 60%, so I have no idea where it's going to go from here.
I am also reading 12 Days of Book-Club-Mas
, which is fun because each story comes with a little gift. I'm not sure when I'll finish it though.

Palace Walk is the first book in the Cairo Trilogy by Nobel Prize winning Egyptian author Naguib Mahfouz. It tells us the story of a Muslim Arab family in Cairo between 1917 and 1919. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ here is my review
Stopped reading Whole Brain Living (Bolte Taylor). I like it, and I'll come back and read it later. But I was suddenly convicted that I need to read the stuff I have about ketogenic diets for epilepsy, since I care for my epileptic brother. First up: Ketogenic Diet Therapies for Epilepsy and Other Conditions, by Kossoff et al. Then I'll read more about the Atkins diet and modified Atkins diet, which may have seizure-control benefits for my brother. 🤞
Oh, I hope there is some good science there, Kevin, and that a change diet helps. I think that the foods we put in our body are often overlooked in treatment.
Finished:
The Guest List⭐️⭐️⭐️ lots of interesting connections
