Good to know. I recently bought this one on Audible. I enjoy Marie Benedict's writing.

Reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Finding it somewhat challenging due to the nature of the story revolving around video game creating. Otherwise, the characters as mesmerising and realistic.
Finished Between the World and Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is sad, because we will never see change. Especially with the direction our country is going.
Finished
Wrong Place Wrong Time wow, the plot twists were great, and I couldn’t put this one down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finished Canal Days Calamity I am still getting use to these cozy mystery novels. Funny at times. I gave this one ⭐️⭐️ And I will continue to finish reading the series.
Finished The Book Eaters
I couldn’t put this book down and read it in 2 days. The author has such an imagination. I really enjoyed this book and gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just finished The Neighborhood
. I thought it was really good, but teetered between 3 and 4 stars. I think it would make a great movie.
my The Neighborhood review
I'm going to start The Island

Finished the
The Murder of Patience Brooke. Interesting mystery, step by step in solving. I will continue to read the series. My first time reading I gave it ⭐⭐
I just finished
+ 🎧, Kirstin Chen which I really enjoyed. Ava Wong always played by the rules and then her old roommate, Winnie comes to visit. She is doing a business making top of the line Counterfeit Handbags and pulls Ava into this, too. It’s a fast and fun read. Here is my 4* review if anyone is interested: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...I just started
, The Lost Girls of Willowbrook by Ellen Marie Wiseman. This is due to publish on 8/30. Sage Winters has just found out her identical twin sister, Rosemary has been staying there for years. She is missing. So, Sage goes to see what she can do, and no one believes she is not Rosemary. They think she is delusional and now she can’t leave. So far, this is quite an intriguing book.
Finished
Death at Hungerford Stairs the 2nd book in the series. I gave it ⭐️⭐️. I’m getting use to the authors style.
Lucky this was a fast pace adventure/ mystery. I found it enjoyable. Good light reading or listening to in my case. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just finished The Lost Girls of Willowbrook, which was an incredible book and still thinking about the real life people affected by the Willowbrook Institute. I am reading The Lincoln Highway, and it is good, but much different then A Gentleman in Moscow which I just read. See what I think.
Finished
The Atlas Six I thought this book was just okay. It did feel like it was too drawn out at times, and so the story would slow down. ⭐️⭐️
Somebody's Daughter I’m always awed when people allow me to read about their lives. And at the end of the audiobook there was an author interview which was great to hear. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Troop the narrator did a great job. I found it enjoyable to listen to.⭐️⭐️
Alone a 12 year olds struggle to stay alive when she has been left behind during an evacuation. A fast pace moving story with touching revelations by the character. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finished
Arsenic and Adobo This book was still enjoyable even though it did have quite a few characters and some sometimes the story got a bit slow. I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️
FinishedThe One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot
This was a really great book! Funny and touching at times. Each chapter flowed so well together. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Recently FinishedThe Loop by Jeremy Robert Johnson. It was fun and thrilling and the narrator of the audiobook did a fantastic job. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Remember Finished an ARC of
Killing Me by Michelle Gagnon. A modern day noir thriller set in Vegas with a queer female lead, serial killers, and a good old fashioned caper. It was laugh out loud funny. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Recently Finished
Break the Bodies, Haunt the Bones by Micah Dean Hicks. This was a super strange book that used supernatural elements as a metaphor for racism (at least that's what I got). A lot of it was really upsetting and depressing. ⭐⭐⭐
Currently Reading
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. The first in the Gemma Doyle series. So far it's got some Gothic, historical fiction, supernatural witchy vibes and is entertaining enough. This is my second series by Bray and it's hard to live up the the excellent Diviners series and January LaVoy's masterful performance on the audiobook.
Finished
Murder in G Majoran enjoyable mystery. I just wish the Ghost was alive. He has such chemistry with Gethsemane. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Finished
Project Hail Mary. This was such a good book! I didn’t want it to end, but I need to know how it ended. I’m going to miss these characters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Also finished
Bullet Train This one was quirky, an interesting read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Lincoln HighwayThe Marriage Portrait, Maggie O’Farrell starting.
Audio 🎧: The Queen's Gambit. This one saw the Netflix Series and think that was better. Still, good though
Finished
The Broken Girls Suspenseful ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Charm Offensive humorous & cute story line ⭐️⭐️
The Fortunes of Jaded Women heartwarming drama of a dysfunctional family⭐️⭐️⭐️
How the Word Is Passed: A Reckoning with the History of Slavery Across Americainformative and enlightening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Read Two Seriously Heavy books. Both involved sexual abuse and I would not usually pick two in a row. I just requested them and came in last minute at the same time.I listened to
, unCULTured, by Daniella Mestyanek Young. She was in The Children of God Cult and what happened to her and the other children there should never happen. Then she joined the military. This one was intense and I tried to write a thoughtful review, but give the author her voice. I am still shaken by this one. 4 Stars 🌟 Here is my review if anyone is interested: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Next, just read and reviewed
, by Ian McEwan. He is an excellent author, but had some deeply troubling abuse for the character, Roland. Ian McEwan really knows how to tell a story and this is about a man’s entire life. The background history of 6 decades in the UK and Germany was fascinating to learn. Recommend this book. 4 Stars 🌟Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm currently reading The Lincoln Highway
. I'm a little more than half way through and so far it's really good. I am having anxiety for a couple of the main characters and can't wait to see how it turns out.
