Whatcha Doin' - 2022

@Janice: I think Jenn and Kristie are giving good advice. I can't believe they let her go home without a word Kristie!

OMG. Kristie, This is totally insane. They actually knew and did not tell you anything? Good thing you doctor followed up.

I'm sorry to hear this, Janice. Yes, you should talk to your neurosurgeon, if anything to stop worrying. I hope it is nothing and you start feeling better soon.

That is very scary! You can't miss inform about something like that.

Peggy, you should call customer service. If it shows that you have a credit on the top right page, it should automatically deduct if from a cash purchase.

That is great, Janice. You will feel so much reassured after talking to the nurse.

Oh no, Janice. What a worry for you. Fingers crossed, all will be ok.

I know exactly what you mean Roz. But I have a wardrobe full of lovely clothes that I don’t get to wear!

If you pay with your credit card, it should automatically apply the credit first. I just click to pay with my card.
This is from the email Audible sent me with the last coupon I received:
In order to use your coupon, you'll need to process your order as if it is a credit card purchase. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Go to www.audible.com
2. Locate the title you would like to buy and add it to your Cart.
3. When you're ready to check out, click the shopping cart located on the upper right hand corner of the page to view the Cart's contents.
4. In your Cart, just to the right of the book cover image, make sure the purchase button with the dollar amount is selected instead of the “1 Credit” one. Your coupon balance will be applied first and if it costs more than the price of the audiobook, there will be a “0.00” subtotal.
5. Click “Proceed to Checkout” and “Complete Purchase” to finalize your purchase.
If there is any remaining coupon balance, that may be applied to your next non-credit purchase.

I'm so glad you are speaking with the nurse, Janice. Hopefully, it will be good news and ease your mind. Let us know how it goes.
I was quite surprised (to say the least) when the doctor called with my daughter's fracture information. My guess is that they initially read the x-rays wrong in the hospital and sent us home, then when someone (the specialist at the hospital or her doctor) read them correctly they didn't call us. They must have assumed we were given the correct information. Her doctor was very surprised that we didn't know already. Very scary.

After relaying that to my sister, the RN, she's thinking it's anxiety since I'm not having other issues. She said anxiety does some strange things to us.
I'm not sure I feel better or not. I guess I'll know better next week.

Thanks for the info Kristie, I didn't receive any instructions. I'll try again or contact them if it doesn't work.

Glad it worked, Peggy! I only received the instructions because they never sent my coupon and I had to contact them to get it.

I was having a chat to one of my staff the other day who had the same thing with his thumb when he was a teenager. He had multiple medical teams miss a fracture through the joint that joined his thumb to his hand, and unfortunately found out it was a fracture in the worse kind of way (he's fine now).
But spines are a lot lot scarier than a thumb!

I work Saturday morning but I hope to have a restful rest of the weekend although there's still lots to do before school stars next Tuesday.

I should be working....but I would rather be reading! Roll on 5pm!

Sandra you’ll be an expert driving instructor for your next child.
Anne - everyone in YLTO will agree with that!
Christine - hope you enjoyed the party.

But check! Maybe you'll be surprised too :)
